A great venue, very personable. At the Tuscany. I will be a frequent visitor if they have bands like this!!

Beautiful room for shows and music. Very small and cosy. To get inside it was pretty easy and efficient. There was only 1 bartender so it took a while to get served. The temperature was not consistent. At times it was warm and then it would suddenly get really cold. Even these issues and the terrible show (pure imagination with Jacob - not Jordan), I like this small venue.

I can't stress enough how how nice the entire staff has been each visit. The crispy juicy chicken Katsu is served on a platter big enough for two. The live music was amazing. It's too bad this band seems to only perform once or twice a year. Highly recommend them! As for the food - everyone is asked to buy at least $25 worth of food, and I would've paid that just to watch the band so it was a bonus. The food itself though is nothing to rave about. I got a $15 small piece of miso black code hand roll with some vinegar sugar rice wrapped in soy paper. I could've made it at home. The Japanese Mille crepe was decent, and I think not bad for the price. I wish they sold non alcoholic fun drinks (mocktails). I would've spent it on that and a dessert. Outside of the food being average and overpriced, the service was excellent! Our server was so diligent and always refilled our waters whenever it went down. I'd come back if any shows interested me but wouldn't go just for food.

Wait staff was very friendly and helped with recommendations. Appetizers came out pretty quickly. We ordered the brisket nachos to start and IDK if we were just all starving or what.. but those nachos really hit the spot! It was a table favorite for sure. It was also a big portion. Mains took a while. Hubby and I split a rack of ribs and and an order of wings. Wings were okay. For the price, I thought it would've came with some carrots/celery.. but it did not. The ribs were a legit rack though. It also came with a side of fries, slaw and pickles. Ribs were tasty. I also added a side of gumbo. The gumbo was meh. I don't think I will order that next time. Kids ordered mostly Mac n cheese with a side of fruit. One ordered the cheeseburger with a side of fries. Kids ate all of their fruit and just some of their Mac; the one with the cheeseburger finished all of her food. The kids meals did not come with drinks. Overall, we left full. Service was great. Music was good. Kids were a different story. Since we were a party of 5+, everyone was put on one bill and gratuity automatically added. They are also a non-cash establishment.. which is kind of weird since it's in a casino. But just a heads up. I would definitely come back if I or friends were staying here. I don't think I would go out of my way to come dine here specifically though.

But it was no warmer than 60 degrees on the main floor. Maybe colder. I get that it's 110 degrees outside but I'd rather be in that heat for three hours than freezing my freaking ass off. My friends agreed they were chilled to the bone. The cheap folding chairs (I mean... have you seen the ticket prices? REALLY??) added insult to injury.

Finally tried takeout from this new Cajun/seafood jazz club (all my favorite things in one package)…read moreafter venturing over one night only to discover they had closed up early. Since their recent opening, they have had some slow nights that warranted closing up earlier than their posted hours -- something to keep in mind. They also only seem to be serving "mocktails" at the moment (no alcohol). Dine in to enjoy live music on weekends! So how's the food? I really had high hopes because I enjoy some good Cajun-style seafood and their menu (especially during weekends) offers great variety from Frog Legs and Oysters "Rockafella" to Gumbo and Seafood Boil. They even offer several Vegan entrees and dessert. Unfortunately, the dishes I tried just didn't hit as expected. Surf & Turf Burger. Big, plump shrimp with no shortage of ooey gooey cheese but even with the plethora of sauces and seasonings, the flavors didn't quite pop. Just a standard burger with added shrimp. Good bun, though, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. Grilled Salmon & Shrimp. Again, great presentation of seafood and creamy sauce filled with various goodies like crawfish, all WITH a generous helping of cheese grits. Sounds heavenly but not a dish for which I'd go out of my way. Shrimp was perfectly tender but salmon was dry and definitely needed the sauce. Good Sizzler/Texas style garlic toast on the side. Seafood Potato With Salad. Okay, this was the main event that drew me to this place but WOW, was I disappointed. It was literally a baked potato broiled with seafood and cheese. I expected much more flavor. For some reason, the cheese grits accompanying this dish had an unpleasantly pungent, foot-like aroma and taste that was not as noticeable in the Salmon dish, possibly attributed to the cheese blend? I really wanted to report back with glowing praises, especially since the owners and staff are so warm and welcoming! I hope my remarks help this business grow and improve with time. I would still return for the music and intimate, speakeasy atmosphere.

One of the best parts about this place is that they have live music almost every night, which is awesome. We went on a night when a cover band was playing, and they were fantastic. The venue itself isn't very big, featuring a small stage and a really intimate environment. Depending on your vibe, you can reserve tables, hang out in the VIP seating area, or just stand around the floor and enjoy the live band performing. The energy was upbeat, and the place was already packed and buzzing even as early as 9 PM. My only real complaint was that the music was incredibly loud. It is turned up so high that you absolutely cannot have a conversation with anyone in there without screaming, which is something to keep in mind if you're looking to chat. Overall, it is a great entertainment place with a fantastic vibe. If you want a lively spot on the Strip with great music, this is definitely worth checking out!

Decided they would get a night on the town with a show, dinner while wife and I had our fun. Dinner, show (Absinthe) capping with our stop at the Barbershop. I love whisky/bourbon. I love speakeasys. I love live music. Check, Check, Check. So now it's about 11 pm after dinner and the show and the walk. Passed the ski lodge speakeasy with just a few people waiting. Got to barbershop and the line was 20 deep. Ruh Roh. It did end up being 40 minutes wait but we made friends in line (ended up all hanging out inside). We almost gave up to back to ski lodge but decided to not be quitters....so glad we stayed. Love the decor. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

We knew which seats we were reserving when making our reservation. The venue accommodated two women who wanted to sit in the middle of the 6 person couch, and intended to split our party. Imagine if our party of 4 sat in the middle and split their party of 2. Same difference. Management was apologetic but moved us to table 5. My issue is these are not the front row seats that we paid for and reserved & the venue was not first come first serve. The owner's wife refused to honor our reserved seats and made accommodations for the two women who sat in the middle of a 6 person couch. It would be one thing if our tickets didn't have a seat number.... We've been to this venue at least 6x before coming to Ikons of Rock for the first time.
