I was introduced to the owner Jill (very gracious woman) who shared the story of the renovation when I commented on what a lovely place. Apparently, a car drove thru the front window where her husband was sitting by the way,, he is back on the road to recovery. Decision was to renovate and what a great place it is. Bartender, Christina was friendly and I could not believe how clean the bar was, bottles actually sparkled. Drinks were reasonable and the ambiance was quite inviting. I intend to revisit to add photos. In the meantime, if your in the neighborhood, nice place to have a cocktail in a nice mellow environment.

During my childhood, the place was called Harpo's (which had nothing to do with a rendition of "San Francisco Nights" made popular in Uppsala by the '70's Swedish pop sensation, Harpo). Aside from the renamed Tower Market and the Miraloma Market, this is the last nostalgic outpost on the Miraloma Park strip mall dating back to the mid-20th century.

Tried not to down this drink but it was so tasty, so unusual, and so thirst quenching that I had to slow it down. Turns out Shauna (owner) was such a delight and grm of a bartender I made an commitment to coming in the following Monday.
