Okay, so I recently moved back to Barcelona, and I'm having trouble finding a good hairdresser. I…read moredecided to try to discover my own hairdresser by myself, and not ask friends and family for advice. I read up on Gijs' biography on the Touch Hair Salon website, and I looked at pictures, and decided to just go for it. I also, wanted a place that wasn't too expensive, and at 34 euros for a haircut I thought that was moderate.
Anyway, I was desperately in need of a haircut, having hair that almost reached to my belly button, but I love long hair, so I told him that I wanted to cut the split ends, and make it shorter, but still make it look long. Low and behold, my hair is short. I hate the way I look with it, and, I hate the cut. The guy who cut my hair was quite nice though, and the atmosphere in the salon is pretty cool nice, so I can't say that it was a horrible experience.
He did ask for my opinion, and I just kind of nodded and told him it was ok, but that the one thing I wanted was to have long hair.
The worst part was that when it was over, and I had short hair, he was like "oh yea, I guess it did come out short," like he was as surprised as I was.
I did not enjoy trying to look like I wasn't really disappointed that he had "uglied" what could have been beautiful hair.
