I am very pleased with every aspect of working with Cara McCarthy at Nashville Tech Hill Commons: opening early (7:30am) so we can set up; loaning me a Chrome Book so I could post on LinkedIn (my laptop died the night before); getting us more coffee when we under-ordered through the catering service we selected; and seeing to every detail, whether large or small. She even helped me with outbound shipment of my event banner. The next time we need to hold an event in Nashville, we plan to go back to Tech Hill Commons for more of their great customer service!

My bartender wasn't as knowledgeable on cocktail making but was open to being walk thru how to make specific drinks. The sound projection from the live band and DJ was nice. I would definitely back for more events in the future. Parking can be tricky so I ubered but the space has room for inside and outside moments. The bathroom is also super cute for a good photo moment.

To the untrained eye, WELD may seem like a WeWork, but it's so much more. It is slightly more expensive than WeWork for a space, but here are the benefits: 1) A creative community- The people who make up WELD are some of the most creative people in Nashville. You have a famous podcaster, a personality test tech company, a photographer, and so many more people creating beauty out of ashes. It's an inspiring place to be and you can bounce ideas off of these smart minds. 2) Free studio- There's a giant white room that you can use for free if you're a member for photo shoots and/or video shoots. WeWork doesn't offer that! 3) The space- It's beautiful and in an up and coming part of town. They converted shipping containers into office space. 4) Free coffee- It's from CREMA and it's good. Even as WeWork moves into Nashville, WELD is the place to be if you're a creative and need a space to work.

There's a community "kitchen" complete with fridge, microwave, sink, etc. Weld offers an open environment for group work as well as individual spaces. My office used the meeting room for the day to brainstorm and develop a new software plan. Weld was a perfect spot to escape the cubicle and truly inspired us to think outside the box. The energy at Weld promotes creative thinking and helped our team accomplish our goal. Highly recommend this space for any work group! **Warning you must be a member!

The facility itself, is very run down looking. It hasn't been updated in a long time, but I guess its okay, because most of the functions here are usually some sort of outdoor event(s)...so, each their own on your opinions..I think they OVERCHARGE for parking $5..is a little much...

In addition to having a world class parking lot the Tennessee State Fairgrounds is a wonderful place to show off that bad ass neck tattoo you just got from your cousin. FUN FACT the racetrack is Nashville's largest full service ashtray! If you have a vague distrust of the federal government and are overtly xenophobic, the Tennessee State Fairgrounds is your home away from home.

I just appreciate that the city still has at least 1 downtown adjacent lot they haven't sold out to private companies who gouge the citizens of Nashville and hurt local businesses by forcing customers to pay something like $45 for an hour of parking. While an event, like a Preds game, might spike the price to park here at MCC up to $20, it's typically just $15 to park here for an entire evening or day. You can walk pretty much anywhere in downtown from here if you like. So rather than pay the highway robbery of those other PNC and Metropolis lots (companies who regularly face lawsuits for price gouging and unethical business practices, including a recent Nashville settlement by Metropolis) I always opt for a spot here to walk. Just think, in another world/time/era, this would just be the standard with the city owning lots at reasonable rates and using that money for city improvements rather than private companies charging astronomical fees to line their own pockets.
