Coming from Jersey it was hard to find someone out this way. So glad I came across this Salon on google. Lafone is all about TLC! I felt like the queen I am. She washed my hair with care, put me in a massage chair for 30 min while my hair was in deep conditioning. The energy was great. I felt like I was at home very relaxed. She offered me a snack. This is experience is what I needed. I got a trim and finger coils. My original plan was to get a rod set but I'm glad I tried something different. I wanted to try the coils but i was so used to the curls and Lafone told me coils will like nice on me so I gave it a try. And when I say I love my hair! I love it! Her products smell so good. And it can be hit or miss if they're friendly. If you do find someone, there's different departments and they might pass you off to someone. This last visit was pretty awkward - I was speaking to a lady in makeup and I had a question about skincare, she tried to hand me off to the specialist who with another customer. Understandably she was busy but she shut us down very rudely. It turned out being a good thing because the initial lady was able to take someone off from the cash register who she said was more knowledgeable than herself at least. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and offered a sample for me to try. She was an older lady with short blonde and blue hair. It was refreshing to see her and another older lady with purple hair working at Sephora. They were both incredibly friendly and made for a pleasant experience.

She did not e.mail it or contact me and the wedding was only about a week away so I contacted her again asking her if she was still on for the wedding and she said she was. She never e.mailed the contract she said she was going to. The morning of the wedding I got a TEXT MESSAGE(NOT A PHONE CALL) on my phone at about 10am, less than an hour before she was supposed to show up that said she had gotten in a car accident, was fine but, "didn't think she could make it". I asked her if she was Ok (she said yes) and I asked her if I could come pick her up and she said no, that she thought she was too far away. I then asked her if she could recommend someone in the area because the wedding was out of town for us and she said she didn't know anyone and that she "can't deal with this right now". She didn't even have the courtesy to call me on the phone that morning, she sent me a text message to cancel FOR A WEDDING PARTY. She never followed up after with an apology, or any contact for that matter, after the incident and it's been about 3 weeks. I would never wish this kind of service to any bride on her wedding day. Needless to say, the bride and the bridal party was extremely upset. Looking back, I should have cancelled with her when she couldn't be bothered to e.mail me the contract. She never gave me a contact number for her either. This was a completely nightmarish situation and I would never recommend her services to anyone, especially on such an important day.
