I go here specifically for Tara, she's amazing and does a great job dying my ginger hair any color I want from brown to pink. If you don't know dying or bleaching red hair can be a real nightmare and I've had many stylists mess it up or charge me hundreds for no change at all. Tara always gets my hair the exact color and style I ask for and is always honest with me about the process. The salon is quite lovely. Has a very boutique vibe. They have a little snack, bar and drink bar for everyone. Everyone who rents a spot or works there seems very friendly and professional. There's usually always parking right in front or across the street. It is downtown Cotati, though, so depending on events, the parking can be a little rough, but I've never had an issue.

Each time I have been very pleased with the service, atmosphere, and of course, the quality. Fringe is located in the heart of Penngrove and is easy to miss if you've never been there, but I think their lowkey location is why they're successful. I love Fringe because it is not one of those uppity salons that overcharges you and has a holier than thou attitude towards you and your hair. Fringe has an at-home feel and is attentive to your needs at a reasonable price. A few weeks ago, I saw Brittany at Fringe. I asked for a natural root color with a freshening up of my blonde highlights. She was able to do exactly what I wanted and it looked so healthy and beautiful when she was done! She was a great conversationalist and was extremely professional. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. Fringe is definitely one of the best kept secrets of Sonoma County salons. Let them beautify you! ;)

Natalie is new to the area, new to Sparrow since June, and she is fantastic! I'm relatively low maintenance but do like to have some grey coverage and found her specifically within this cute salon because she is low chemical, organic processing. I showed a couple pics, explained what I'm seeking, we talked and she began to work her magic. She did an incredible job! I love my color and cut, she is friendly, easy to talk to, good at what she does and gives off an overall warm friendly vibe. Super happy to have finally found someone who is good at what they do and I felt comfortable in her chair. Yay!! All the women at the salon (2 others) were friendly and kind, the whole salon has a friendly hood energy. Some of the products are locally sourced from Concord which is cool - they smell amazing! I'm feeling so happy from this first experience and excited for my next appointment!
