It is only a small car park and spaces are quite narrow and some people insist on using the disabled bays of which there are only two if they have a big car. My other complaint is that drivers have no patience and will try and force themselves around you as you try and either reverse out of a space or leave the car park.

They also offered their help with the shopping, going to get items from their storage and offered free coffee from Nero Cafe. They deserve as much recognition as the NHS staff, helping the public even though people have become rude to them at times and the work has become extremely intense and unsafe. The staff regularly talk to each other when they are meant to be serving you at the tills and seem disinterested. It has a handy kiosk near the entrance if you want to pop in to get a newspaper or lottery ticket but that really is the only good feature about this place. Fruit and veg is cheaper than anywhere else in the area but sometimes looks a little worse for wear. We also managed to purchase a bottled salad dressing that was a month out of date too! Luckily we noticed and took it back before we had eaten any. Our money was refunded. There is parking behind the store, but beware the chavs who use this as a social area!

It is handy for picking up everyday items that you might run out of though such as milk or bread. The only problem is that if you are in the car and passing through Higham Ferrers hoping to pop into this store then it is often difficult to park and you sometimes end up parking really far up the High Street or round the corner. This store is quite expensive compared with places like the big Tescos or Morrisons, but it is probably around the same as the smaller Tescos Express prices which are usually found in small towns or villages like this Co op. The store usually looks pretty clean and tidy and I've never had to queue very long either. If you live locally then it is a handy shop to have, but not one that I would especially travel to.

It is not a huge store but I think that Tesco are ultimately planning to extend the store. Even though its not huge it is very well stocked. They have a good fruit and veg department which is the usual good Tesco quality. They have a self serve petrol station, cashpoint and quite good parking. The store was really busy - as you would expect it to be on a Saturday and I can imagine it will be awful over the Christmas period but it is nice to have a tesco store in the town rather than having to travel to Coventry.
