If you have never been in Farmfoods before - the majority of what they sell is frozen food, although they have shelves above the chest freezers with non frozen goods on, as well as essentials like milk, bread and loo roll! They often send out discounts in the local paper in the form of £2.50 off a £25 spend or £5 off a £50 spend. Bearing in mind that the food is already good value, these vouchers make it exceptionally good value. The parking is excellent, I have only ever seen the car park half full. The only downside to this shop is the time it can take to check out as they usually only have 1 person on the checkouts. But the wait is worth it for the bargain food!

The electrical section sells everything from ipods to TVs and all household things such as toasters and kettles.The prices are really good too. I did experience a really long wait once when I was trying to purchase an electrical item as they couldn't find the one I wanted in the warehouse. It does get really busy in this branch and the checkouts always have queues, but they do their best and most of the checkouts are usually open along with the self service ones. There is free parking at Weston Favell centre so you don't need to worry about how long you spend in there either.

Out of date goods on the shelves, the first was a lemon drizzle cake 2 days out of date, the second was a birthday cake my daughter bought for her daughter, a working mum found the Harry Potter cake and it was only when she went to serve it and opened the box, realised it was out of date. Both these items were bought to be used on the same day as purchase. Very disappointed little girl. The first item returned received a response of 'sorry about that' as did the second. No assurance that the bakery section would be checked and staff asked to ensure stock rotation and removal of goods passed their use by dates . I worked for Tesco as a bakery supervisor a lifetime ago and we would have been in serious trouble if out of date stock was on the shelves,now it is shrugged off as normal. Very sad. Come on Tesco restore some confidence, check your shelves, remove out of date stock, customers shouldn't have to check dates of products - that's your job.

But no mention of "World Cuisine" or "international foods" on the signage. Are we just supposed to intuitively know that the powers-that-be at Tesco, when they say "pasta," they mean all these other things as well? I had to go up and down the aisles, searching for rice noodles or something similar, no employee in sight, finally had to ask a very kind gentleman who was wearing a Tesco jacket but was a driver off-duty doing his own shopping! Get the signage right, hire enough employees to provide a modicum of customer service. 4. overall impression is of a messy, dirty store 5. The ink cartridges deposited for recycling and Clubcard points are either being stolen by employees or handled so incompetently that it amounts to negligence. Why have a program if you cannot run it properly? I deposited 6 over the past three months and was credited for one. This is too much of a repeat experience to be a mere mistake. Tesco, don't annoy your customers with so-called services that you cannot execute properly. Either do the job well or don't do it at all.

Management of this store is very poor, shelves seem to low on stock and vast spaces in the store suggest the business is reducing offerings and fundamentally progressing towards closure. Car-park (lower level) park at your own risk, supports everywhere as if the upper level is going to collapse. Shame this used to be a thriving business, either bad management or a severe lack of investment (or a combination of both). Go to sainsburys nearby, much better supermarket.
