Undeterred, I decided to take a stroll around the nursery to see if I could find any hidden gems. As I wandered through the rows of plants, my eyes caught sight of a peculiar sight. Nestled within a 15-gallon plant container, I noticed two black oak seedlings volunteering their presence. They seemed to be thriving amidst the other plants, their delicate leaves dancing in the gentle breeze. It was as if they were calling out to me, begging for a new home. With a sense of excitement and possibility, I approached the nursery staff to inquire about these unexpected discoveries. They seemed surprised, unaware that these resilient seedlings had taken root within the confines of the container. After a brief discussion, the staff kindly give me these little wonders, acknowledging that they could be a special addition to any garden. Minus all kinds of stars for that. So, like I said, this place has a few nice items, but from the lame and downright BAD service I received, it should be grateful I can't rate it less than one star. We get a lot of black bears in La Canada being right next to the Angeles National Forest so I think I could add a bear to my landscape at some point. Unfortunately Bear's Den didn't have one that we liked enough. They were too skinny for bears. This new location is much smaller than it's previous spot - but it's still a fantastic pharmacy with efficient and kind staff. I'm always impressed with how on point everyone is here. They're great at filling prescriptions and will do their best to find more affordable generic prescriptions as needed. I'm also a fan of their growing holistic selection here - including essential oil infused epsom bath salts here and other self care items. For such a small store - they do a fantastic job of keeping their basic key items well organized, while still sprinkling the store with fun finds.
