There is only one person on staff who I've interacted with that is kind and respectful. The girl with the chunky black highlights and facial piercings with thick eyeliner helped me tonight on 1/2/2025 and made me feel super uncomfortable. Not friendly or knowledgeable on product. Had a terrible first experience, poor customer service with the manager just calling me baby over and over after I had been waiting 15 minutes for someone to update their system. Also make sure if you go you don't have a credit union with a debit card because they won't accept it even though they said they accept debit cards. He also had an attitude while talking. I don't know but this place seems shady. Just if you go there make sure that you don't pay a fee to get in if you have your card. I've been coming here quite often and noticed that prices are cheaper in the afternoon than early mornings. DISHONEST & DISRESPECTFUL staff! NOT A SAFE SPACE for POC or WOMEN! This review is for woman & P.O.C! This establishment hires disrespectful employees that lie to & gaslight customers! We had been loyal customers for over 2 years, meaning that we racked up a many loyalty points in our time there. Overtime, I made a few friends out of the workers- but unfortunately, the staff has become very chaotic & DISHONEST. I look like what humans are trained to label as a "Black" man- which means that most Americans perceive me through racist stereotypes that come with the label. Most of the staff have been P.O.C- so this was not a problem until we met a cashier named DANIEL. Normally we use cards, but the reader rejected both of us. The cashier who I had never seen before, said that many people get upset about the readers not working. I laughed & made a joke about technology failing to perform basic functions. We purchased items, despite the machine not working. He even gave a small discount for the inconvenience. The next time we visited The Clinik (2 weeks later) we learned that Daniel had twisted our friendly interaction into something that he used to permanently ban us. Despite the smiles, jokes & discount- this cashier felt so emotional about our interaction that he was able to permanently ban us without telling us first. The security guard let us in, but we could not buy anything because Daniel claimed that we were "rude" & "aggressive" to him. This surprised me, as well as the other workers there. They said they were VERY confused about Daniels desire to ban us. This is because, & they can confirm that we have always been calm, friendly customers. The employees that were there decided to unban me based on their prior knowledge of my character. They then told me that the only way I could get my roommate unbanned is if I came back & talked to Daniel. (This was inappropriate considering they just had the power to unban me.) The situation got much worse after taking their advice to come back. 2 days later, I was greeted by a new guard who kindly let me into the shop. I met a new cashier, who hooked me up with my usual items. I could see Daniel the entire time, but he was intentionally standing as far away from me as possible & avoiding my eyes. I tried to get his attention, but he was giving me 'the cold shoulder'. I soon found out it was because he did not want to admit that he had me RE-banned! I learned this when I tried to make my purchase & the system said that I was banned again. The security guard who let me in then told me that I did not belong there- despite the fact that I had been wrongfully banned in the first place. When I told him that Daniel banned me, the security guard called him over. I then asked the cashier why he blacklisted me from the Clinik twice. Daniel looked me in my eyes & proceeded to LIE, & say that he was not the person who banned me or my roommate at all! The previous workers explicitly said that Daniel banned me for being "aggressive"- yet somehow he felt comfortable telling me that he did not do it. What was supposed to be me talking to Daniel about unbanning my roommate- turned into me being RE-banned by the boy who said that he never did it. This insulting injustice was worsened when I called the Clinik, hoping to get in touch with the men who unbanned me. Instead I got in touch with a new worker who looked at the system & confirmed yet again that Daniel was in fact the guy who banned us. When I said that Daniel told me he did not ban me- the worker doubled down & stated that Daniel did not want my "energy" in his "space" & that is why both of us are no longer welcome. This worker then told me that I do not belong at the Clinik before abruptly hanging up on me! So this is a WARNING to all customers! Do not give your energy to systems that want to cut you out of their space. Do not be loyal to racist & misogynistic businesses that will throw you away at a moments notice, string you along, then lie about it. Find a dispensary with caring workers who treat everybody with honesty, respect, integrity & kindness! read more
