And asking if I could hear outside the room after I moved away from the door, and wall, were people were constantly talking on the other side and they were louder than the nurse in the room asking me questions. At which she was weird too. She would just sit there and say nothing so I'd stare at the floor. Or when he asked if my main doctor was a endocrinologist he said "Cool!" about 10x times. Like...what? You're not an endocrinologist either so what does it matter? It's not even your field. And fu for mocking things I said back to me. When I went home they wouldn't approve the imaging center I lived near. So now I have to drive 2 ish hours to get something done that I could have done in my home town. They put it down as Stat and all the imaging centers seem to either not care or put it 3+ days out. Stop yelling. Just because one nurse who wants to speak with a thick accent while whispering in a loud waiting room doesn't mean I can't hear you in a regular room. She also had a habit of ignoring questions then going back what she said. Like she asked about some kind of shot and I asked her if I get the shot would I have to take the antibiotics the doctor sent to my pharmacy (that delayed them for some reason). I even showed her their app and where it said it was delayed. She then ignored it and asked if I was on antibiotics. She knowingly asked this again for the 10th+ time after explaining I had run out, didn't get a refill, showed her the app, and was asking about the shot. She rarely answered any questions and kept ignoring everything other thing I said. Also it took me a while to remember, but no my "son" didn't call. You all called me about the appointment and I said my Dad was hard of hearing since he was driving me there. You all are the weirdest and worst group I've ever experienced. If you didn't help so many people in the area I would have wished this place was closed down. There wasn't any reason for any of your bs. Also your patient portal is complete crap. It keeps crashing and refusing to let me download my medical information.

They do take walk-ins, but appointments are recommended. Ms. Jessica Hinson is one of Dr. Gonzalez's PA's, and she is amazing! She listens, and takes her time. I never feel that she is in a hurry to get to the next patient. When blood work is needed, it is convenient because they have a lab on the premises, you don't have to arrange to have it done elsewhere. They also can do EKG's if necessary. They knew their patients, listened to concerns, and provided prompt, efficient service both in person and over the phone. Unfortunately, the level of care and service I have experienced recently has declined significantly. On multiple occasions, I have spent 15-20 minutes on hold after being told, "I will be right with you," only to continue waiting with no resolution. For a patient who is ill and seeking medical assistance, this is both frustrating and unacceptable. More concerning is the quality of care I received during my most recent illness. I was seen by a nurse practitioner who was unfamiliar with my medical history and appeared to dismiss my concerns when I failed to improve after taking a Z-Pak and benzonatate. Throughout the years, I have repeatedly explained that benzonatate has never been effective for me. I am asthmatic and have a history of developing bronchitis and pneumonia, making respiratory illnesses particularly serious. Eight days after my appointment, my condition had worsened considerably. My lungs became so congested that I struggled to breathe despite using my nebulizer. My coughing fits intensified, causing headaches, shortness of breath, and significant discomfort. That day, I called the office three separate times seeking assistance and possibly stronger medication. Each call involved the same lengthy hold times, only to be told that someone would see whether the nurse practitioner would respond. No meaningful assistance was provided. Out of frustration, I submitted refill requests through Walgreens for my cough syrup and the Z-Pak. The following day, I called again and was informed that the nurse practitioner recommended an over-the-counter cough medication. Frankly, I found that response unbelievable. If the prescribed treatment had already failed, and I had been seen only days earlier with worsening symptoms, recommending an over-the-counter medication seemed dismissive and completely disconnected from my condition. Not surprisingly, the refill requests submitted through Walgreens were denied. At this point, I feel as though I do not matter, not even as a patient number. I should not have to repeatedly chase medical attention when I am clearly ill and struggling to breathe. Whether the practice is overwhelmed with patients or facing other challenges, the treatment and service I have received are unacceptable. I pay for medical care and expect a reasonable level of responsiveness and attention. Even if the services were provided free of charge, patients deserve to be treated with dignity, concern, and professionalism. The care I have received during this illness has fallen far short of that standard. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve both patient service and patient care moving forward. I originally was being seen at William Beaumont for my prenatal care and had the worst experience (…read morenever got calls regarding lab results, always seen a different person and husband unable to attend any appointments yes I understand covid is around). During the end of my pregnancy I decided to be seen by Dr. Hernandez and wow what a game changer. My husband was able to meet the doctor and hear our bundle of joy heart beat for the first time and see the baby on the ultrasound. I felt very comfortable with the care that Dr Hernandez provided and this was my first pregnancy, she always followed up with me and seem to remember who I was on the next visit, she always made sure that I understood everything and I never felt rushed during the visit. Sadly the on call doctor delivered my baby I figured my baby would grace us with his presence on a day she didn't work but hey she did come in and check up on me at 6am on the dot. My only regret was not being seen by her during my whole pregnancy, I highly recommend to give her a try and you'll see what I'm talking about on the first visit.
