She arrived 10 mins early (points for her!!) to hear any specifics I needed to tell her and "get the lay of the land." Because of my back and knee issues, I can't do the hard core cleaning of the full shower and shower doors, kitchen and bath floors, and the oven as well as they could be, but she spent the time to do a fine job on my highlighted areas and managed to go over the rest of the house also. Evanne was very focused and experienced, immediately got to work and not a chatty time waster either and that was all much appreciated. We hired them to do a move-out clean for us from a 1600 sq ft 3 bedroom home in July of 2013. While…read morethe people who came were friendly, they took over an hour longer than they were supposed to, which delayed us moving out of town when we wanted to. Since we were in a rush, I didn't get a chance to do as thorough of a job checking things out as apparently I should have, because our landlord took a bunch of money out of our security deposit because she said the place looked like it was NOT professionally cleaned. She said the burners were messy, blinds weren't done well and she was going to have to have the kitchen cleaned all over again. Now, this could have been because of some of our landlord's own issues, but when I called (1.5 weeks after the job was done because that's when we first heard from our landlord) and I spoke with Josh, he basically said "Sorry - we did our job - it's too late, can't do anything for you." It was frustrating because we spent $425 on the entire move out clean ($275 for the move out clean and $150 to have the carpets done) and then we lost another couple hundred from our security deposit. We just moved to another state and had another company come and do a move-in clean for us. They brought four people (Stratford Inn only brought two cleaners) who worked for under 2 hours and cleaned a similarly-sized home and did an excellent job. So, for the price, and the customer service I experienced, I can't say that I would recommend the Stratford Inn Professional Cleaners to anyone in Ashland.

I've been exposed to Covid (because she is not vaccinated and doesn't wear a mask unless the client insists). I've got Covid. My stomach's upset. I took vitamins and they made me nauseous. I'm overbooked and burned out. She needs to get her act together and manage her business like a REAL business rather than letting her customers down over and over again until they give up and hire someone else.

Given her level of professionalism (at least up front), including signing a contract and asking for a $50 deposit, I thought the level service would match the price. Unfortunately one of the cleaners called in sick that day and items that were supposed to be addressed as parts of the contract were still left filthy. When I followed up to express dissatisfaction, the owner Callie promised that she would come back "any time in the future" and give current tenant 2 hours of cleaning to make up for the sub-par work. When we contacted her to redeem the promised 2 hours, Callie did not return the text, phone call or emails. Cannot recommend.
