We used 2 different companies before, and as they did good jobs, they never were able to completely get the highly trafficked areas clean. Steve with Deep Steam Carpet was our third attempt and he DID get the carpets completely clean and white again. He even cleaned the corners between the carpet and the wall where it was black. I thought those corners were a lost cause from years of not being vacuumed, but Steve cleaned those and got the corners clean and white also! He did a lot of extras we hadn't even asked for. And he is very friendly and courteous and respectful. You would expect to have to pay a big premium for such good service, but the price was fabulous! Deep Steam Carpet Cleaning has very powerful steam-cleaning equipment that can really get at the dirt and extract it. I am not one to normally write reviews, but every time I vacuum, I marvel at how great a job Steve did, so I decided I really needed to write this review. He does not nickel and dime like other services I've used in the past and I love that the products are non toxic. Even with the minimum charge, I'd still say he has the best prices in town for such a high quality service. David was extremely responsive and accommodating to my scheduling requests. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and trustworthy. Will be hiring again for all future jobs, highly recommend!

We have pets, with some very stubborn stains. I asked David if he charged extra for pet treatment - and he said no, it was a flat rate (which I have never experienced - I usually get charged a hefty fee for having pets). David pre-treated the carpets, and then cleaned the carpets. He does not use harsh detergents, so no residue is left in the carpet. The carpets dried within 3-4 hours and they look brand new. No stains! Yay!! I most definitely would highly recommend David!! Oh, and I forgot to tell you - he places little styrofoam wedges under all the feet of the furniture, which can be removed after the carpet has fully dried. I appreciated the attention to detail!!

Place looked great, was told that it would be dry in 2-3 hours. Living room was dry, but the carpet on the stairs was still pretty wet about 12 hours later, but our movers weren't coming until the next day so no problem. I'm at work the next day and my wife's family called to tell me that the stairs are still sopping (24 hours later). I called to see if there was anything that could be done about it, as my movers and wife's family are now over there and are kind of stuck. He explained to me how the cleaning process worked and everything, which was great, and explained that usually it took 2-3 hours to dry. He recommended I "get some fans and open the windows," and although he said "I get it's an inconvenience," also did not offer any kind of apology. He asked bluntly "what are you looking for?" Refused any kind of discount, did not offer to bring over fans/blowers (I don't own any of either myself), and was generally unapologetic and told me "I don't have time to argue about this on the phone I have other customers and clients." Nothing wrong with the cleaning itself obviously, (I think, I haven't been able to see the upstairs) and the carpet looked as good as could be expected given the state of it at the start, but I was pretty disappointed by the lack of sympathy or willingness to help after paying hundreds of dollars for a service. *UPDATE* Jason made things right which was hugely appreciated. Then it was scheduled for Tuesday 10/22. Nobody showed up Tuesday and when I called they said it was actually scheduled for Wednesday and I must have written it down wrong. Wednesday 10/23 they showed up and cleaned the couch and I venmo'd payment only to get home from work and find dirty water stains on my cream colored couch where they hadn't pulled out all the water correctly. So I texted the number I'd sent the payment through, and got nothing back. I called the next day and was told they'd fit me in that next Tuesday 10/29. Nobody showed up by 4pm so I called again, and was told that if nobody showed up by 5 that Jason, the owner, would personally come clean it on Thursday 10/31. On the 31st I called in the morning to get an ETA on when someone would be there and was told he'd call his guys (again, he had said he would personally come clean it) and get back to me. I have not heard from him since. Suddenly my calls are dropping and then the cherry on top was the 1am call I got (and didn't answer for obvious reasons) and then got my call declined again when I called back at a reasonable hour. Long review to say: Do not hire these folks, they will jerk you around and then do a terrible job. Worst part is they obviously don't stand by their work.

We called Mike Wooley, on our neighbor's referral, and had an excellent experience dealing with him and his crew. First of all, he is extremely low key and easy to work with. The crew (2 young ladies) hard working and conscientious scrubbed all until they sparkled, then putting on the sealant. They were careful with laying out covering on our adjoining hardwood floors. The pricing is very fair and reasonable. They were right on time, a plus in everyone's schedule. The bathrooms looked like they were just laid and the limestone counter, a plus from what the weather had done to it. Last year we had a water pipe burst under our home which caused some damage to our subfloor. We…read morecontacted our insurance company, and they had a mitigating company come to dry our home out and investigate the scope of damage. That company did such a great job in all aspects that my wife and I wanted to stick with them for the rest of the work. Our insurance agent really pushed for CRBR, vouched for their work, and so, we agreed to go with these guys. Today, we're looking at a nightmare of a situation and regret that decision deeply. 1) We had LVP installed in our home and it is failing at random throughout the home in all trafficked areas due to not prepping the subfloor and using the wrong materials (corrugated cardboard) when they attempted to level the subfloor in various areas, rather than what the job would standard would call for, a self leveling medium. 2) CRBR failed to seal up the moisture barrier under our home after explaining to them on multiple occasions (once with the branch manager present) that my agent was willing to approve more if they had missed the full scope of damage in the first estimate. Unfortunately, the Project manager became argumentative, dismissive, and unwilling to resubmit anything new to my insurance agent who remains open and willing to approve such. 3) We have now have had 3 local licensed flooring contractors independently come to look at the scope of failure we're looking at here. The solid consensus is that we're looking at the floor failing at varying random levels throughout the home because CRBR did not prep the subfloor at all & used improper medium to level it in (at least what we saw in the kitchen- corrugated cardboard scraps from LVP boxes). CRBR has had 3 attempts at fixing these issues before the job is anywhere near complete and each time they did not fix the issues but only made them worse; or in the best case, did not address the problems altogether. Luckily, my wife and I were present daily to catch a glimpse of the subpar and neglective practices CRBR put to use...If not, we would likely be thinking our home was the problem instead. So, all considered, I would not recommend this company to anyone, especially if you do not have an independent inspector to hold them to industry standards / oversee the work. 90% of this work will need to be redone. It is obvious we are looking at numerous breaches of contract pertaining to the use of "proper material" and "good workmanship." At this point, it would be in their interest to start offering a full reimbursement and bow out like they were never here. That work should have been done nearly 2 months ago and has been paid for.
