Unfortunately, someone stole the package off my porch in the hour before I got to it (thanks, San Francisco), and I was heartbroken. I let Justin know about the issue, which clearly wasn't his fault, and he immediately offered to resend the package. I received it today, still incredibly fast despite the mail theft, and can't recommend this company enough. Their cards are very high quality (both paper, design, and letterpress work) and on top of that, they are wonderful to do business with - highly recommended!

Our group of 6 had a great time fishing from the cold early morning of 7 am through 12 pm. We had…read moreto go on 2 separate boats, 4 on Aaron's & 2 on Jim's boat. We did wish our 2 boats stuck together during the whole trip though. I was the only one who didn't catch a fish so I guess Aaron took pity and threw in an extra hour to be kind. It was just a slow day for fishing, which was no fault of Aaron's. Our group of 6 caught more than 10 fishes during our 5 hr trip (booked for only 4 hrs), but we only took home 5 because some of the fishes were too old so the meat wasn't advised to eat. Aaron also shared some history about the lake, how people who used to live there were forced to leave in order to create the man made reservoir, it was interesting & I love history. Whenever someone caught a fish, Aaron dropped everything and sprung into action to go catch the fish for us. We also lost our bait or had our hook snagged several times & Aaron helped us all those times. Towards the end of our trip, Aaron filleted the fish for us to take home. My friend's mom actually wanted the whole fish but we didn't know. We took home about 5 fish, so 10 small filets. The fish filets were gone within minutes for dinner lol, it was tasty & tender. It's a different feeling when you catch your own dinner. Aaron mentions that he also will go to Lake George for his service for an additional $100 travel fee. We may go to him again next summer. Thanks again Aaron!

John was one of the most meaningful parts of my company's Holiday Party this year. We hosted it as…read morea community event, and one of my ideas was to give every attendee a professional headshot as a holiday gift -- something simple, meaningful, and lasting. When I shared the idea with John, he immediately loved the sentiment, and as a photographer, he told me this was something he thinks about often: how few people have a truly nice photo of themselves. And he absolutely delivered. So many people don't have a single photo that makes them feel confident, proud, or genuinely seen. John created a warm, relaxed, welcoming space and brought out the best in every person who stepped in front of his camera. Watching people light up when they saw their photos was honestly my favorite part of the entire night. John was professional, kind, patient, and incredibly skilled. He didn't rush anyone, he made people feel comfortable, and the results spoke for themselves. What he gave our guests was far more than a headshot -- it was a gift of self-appreciation and dignity they'll carry with them long after the holidays. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you want a photographer who understands people and captures their best self, John is exceptional.

But the real gem is the proprietor, Austin. He made us feel so at home and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. I would recommend the Meadowlark to anyone looking to stay in the area.
