Brandy from Twin City Twisters was my daughter's tumbling coach in Arizona. She was talented and…read morehelped each girl to grow from where she began. The owner of that facility was a screamer, and once, when Brandy had to be out, I saw the difference between someone who really cares about kids and knows how to teach and someone who thinks they can bully kids into learning. Brandy makes each of the girls strive to reach their goals. They WANT to do their best and they work very hard for her. She explains in ways the kids understand just what to do. She is patient and watches, so she knows where the child is struggling, so that she can correct the stance or the set up and help them be successful. There is no better coach for cheer or tumbling and gymnastics than Brandy Johns at Twin City Twisters!

My daughter has been going to American Zen do Kai for the past three years now. I can't say enough…read moreabout the training she has received so far. She has excelled and looks forward to the classes each week. Aside from teaching martial arts, Zen Do Kai teaches numerous important life values, such as respect, perseverance, loyalty, trustworthiness, and kindness. I see her using these values in and out of the dojo. Learning martial arts is an invaluable part of our daughter's life, and deciding on Zen Do Kai as her dojo was the smartest decision we could have ever made! I recommend them to any one who asks, and even some who don't

This photo booth is AWESOME. I work in the wedding industry myself and have seen many different…read morephoto booths, and this is by far one of the best ones I've seen. Super sleek/clean/modern appearance (hate those cheesy out-dated enclosed booths that can only fit 3 people max,) the booth attendant was friendly and knowledgeable, photo quality was top-notch, lots of fun props to use... my friend's and I were in it all night. AND we got to see all of the photos afterwards loaded online for digital download. If you or anyone you know is looking to rent a photo booth in the NY capital region, definitely recommend Modern Photobooth & Co.!

They had toys for the 2-year old to play with to make him comfortable. Great studio setting and both Tim and Dana make the experience reassuring and comfortable with a great sense of humor and dedication to getting you the family portrait that will delight up. I've seen the outdoor settings of their weddings portraits and was blown away with the stunning beauty. They make people shine in every setting.

Found this on AllTrails and decided to visit. There are few different colored trails (red, yellow,…read moreblue) that you can choose to follow. Check AllTrails for maps. There are a few steep parts and some stair sections so I wouldn't call it an "easy / gentle" walk but it is not hard and def kid and dog friendly. You do get to see a few small waterfalls along the walk and can continue on farther on a trail that is cleared and mapped on AllTrails - but not one of the colored paths. That extension takes you farther up to falls #1 and #2. There is a stream crossing but you could turn around at that point if you wanted. They are some well placed large flat rocks to make it easier to cross, but if the water was high it would be tricky. Nice place with the bonus of walking along Indian Kill and watching the water flow.

From paintings with moons, to lamps made out of old ice fishing rods.... you can't go wrong. It' is hard to narrow it down to just one item, so go ahead and shop til your heart is content. Any item you choose is unique and quite individual, catered to the inner artist in each of us. Unfortunately, we live in LA area, and are limited to how much we can shop or ship. I never visit Troy without stopping by to browse, and buy. The owner is super sweet and many of the paintings are done by her mom, all the more reason to stop by and support this local business.
