However the side streets have plenty of free parking even for our long rig. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. We each settled on a sandwich and soup. I had egg salad and the soup was Thai Chicken Curry and it was absolutely delicious. The sandwich was good, not great but fine. They probably have great coffee here but I just finished a coffee on the road so I didn't sample Hug-A-Mug's offerings. I would definitely return, although next time I would order a larger bowl of soup and skip the sandwich.

Which is fine, not every place does. What I didn't appreciate or find amusing was the fact that after I politely explained I would have to go elsewhere due to this fact (as I had left my wallet in my hotel and only had my AMEX in my truck), she proceeded to laugh in my face. Then said, "you don't want your order?" I replied "I would not be able to pay if they didn't accept AMEX." Which was followed by another over the top burst of laughter. If this is the way A&W treat their patrons, then I don't need it. And I won't be returning. In fact I think it'll be a long while before I go to any A&W location. Absolutely uncalled for and extremely inconsiderate and rude attitude.
