As for the selection of merchandise, this is my favorite place to buy children's books. I could spend hours and hours looking through their extensive collection. Most books are $1.50 apiece, and they often are on sale. Typically I get rid of stuff we no longer need for a huge stack of books costing nothing out of pocket. And that's gold.

Not sure if it was because I'm a minority or because I was casually dressed, but every look from the staff seemed to be a quick scan to my hands and pockets to make sure I'm not stealing anything. IMO, Plato's is great for shopaholics who routinely buy items from stores popular with younger people and don't wear the item or wear it once before realizing before the season is over that they want to get rid of it. That doesn't apply to most people. So unless you have a ton of basically new and recently bought Forever 21 or American Eagle stuff you'd like to sell to plato's at 1/3 of the price they would sell for there, you're going to have a bad time selling. Sorry, but I've tried enough to know that I am not a Plato's seller. As far as buying, though, this location is great. More well-stocked than others and the employees actually don't ignore you! They have a huge selection and often run sales, so if you're looking for younger branded stuff at lower prices, it's a great spot to go. As a frequent Plato's shopper and not a seller, I think this location comes out pretty far ahead a lot of others that I've seen.
