Not sure if it was because I'm a minority or because I was casually dressed, but every look from the staff seemed to be a quick scan to my hands and pockets to make sure I'm not stealing anything. It was incredibly uncomfortable and offensive. Which is too bad, since my daughter would have loved that store and I would have loved to purchase a few items there. The shop is mostly tailored toward moms with some money to burn (or those shopping for to-die-for baby shower gifts: great gift items for mom plus the most adorable baby clothes, shoes, books, and decor. They also host monthly workshops. In June, guests can paint pennants/flags, and in July they've got a terrarium workshop that sounds amazing. They're also open late on Art Hop Fridays (the first Friday of each month) and they had an ice cream food "truck" (actually a bike-based business) visit in May. Yummo!

Most of the time I don't get the cash I was hoping for, but I also know I am paying for the convenience of them paying me on the spot. As for the selection of merchandise, this is my favorite place to buy children's books. I could spend hours and hours looking through their extensive collection. Most books are $1.50 apiece, and they often are on sale. Typically I get rid of stuff we no longer need for a huge stack of books costing nothing out of pocket. And that's gold.

This place seems like a hybrid of both. Prices seem to be right around the Goodwill range or even less (and like Goodwill, they were offering 50% off of certain colored tags). Anyway, decent variety of older games and toys, lots of kids clothing in a wide range of sizes, even some maternity bras and clothing for mothers, and a huge rack for shoes in the back. As is off in the case, there were three times as many girls shoes as boys. The spot is definitely way off the beaten path -- tucked in the very back corner of a strip mall at the corner of Gulll and Sprinkle roads (if you've found Main Street Pub you've got the right building -- it's around the back).
