I like The Children's Place, I'm just not a fan of this location. This store is pretty small and cramped which makes your shopping experience unpleasant because when you're not bumping into the displays then you're bumping into the other shoppers. It's especially extremely difficult to get around the store if you have a stroller or are in a wheelchair. Shopping here in the summer time is the worst because of the lack of air...this location doesn't have an A.C. not quite sure that they even have a fan! The service here is very slow, I came in to make a return and it took forever just to get to the counter. The only reason why I bothered to come in here is because this location is close to my house but never again! read more

This is the worst location. It is always messy, crowded, and as someone who has worked in retail, it has the worst customer service. The sales associates are not helpful, never know anything about the clothing, and rude. When I went there was only ONE person on the register, for a line that lead to the door, and when I asked other associates why isn't anybody helping, they said it's not their responsibility. Customer service and cleanliness at this store needs to address ASAP. read more

I have had a horrible experience both over the phone and also dealing with the Fordham rd/ grand concourse location. I had to call 2 times to be able to fix my problems online to customer service the first time I was on hold for 1 1/2 hours and no one ever picked up. The second time I was on hold for 50 minutes until I was finally able to somewhat get my issue resolved. I then placed and order for same day pick up and never received an email stating it was ready or unavailable. I then call the store to check on order and all they tell me is we can help you u have to wait until the person who does orders comes in. does that mean that there was no one there the previous day to do the order? Then blamed it on corporate for submitting the order to them late. They have no customer service skills. I work with retail and I have never treated my customers this bad. Children's Place has officially been taken off my list for shopping. read more

Customer service is absolutely unacceptable. Even for the Bronx. The person who appeared to be the manager was rude.

Horrible!!! The girls there won't help all they say is "no We don't have it or sorry" they dismiss the customer. When it was done she didn't even put the item in my bag lucky I checked. Never ever again read more

I prefer to shop at their online store than at any of their locations. They never seem to have anything in stock and it gets crowded at this particular location. I've been here once recently and the person working there was not helpful at all. They've got better customer service online and fast shipping. read more

This store is the worst!!!!! Horrible customer service even from the store manager. The store is always a mess. The staff puts up sale signs but it's a different price when u get to the register! This store needs training for its staff immediately! read more

The children's place to me does compete with Cookies a bit. I know, I know a lot of people are going to be like WHAT!????? But honestly though Cookies has more options and greater prices. The Children's Place clothing is better quality, last longer and their shoes are more acceptable. I will go to Cookies to purchase little summer clothes here and there for my nephew and god kids but will purchase they're stronger winter clothes at TCP. Their prices are not too bad and they do have some specials through out the year. This location is well organized and the employees are helpful and assist you in the right things. I don't like the lines but I can not complain too much since I have been in and out other times. read more
