Bottom line- clothes, bassinets, strollers, and swings are the best priced items.

Some prices were much higher than expected and some were lower. So all that to say I won't be rushing back here like I did the other day.

They did not give me a receipt of what they kept of mine. When I went to pickup my unsold items, I was absolutely sick at the commission I received. I gave them NWT (last years items) lilly Pulitzer dresses, tops, skorts, Coolibar skort/coverups, Wooden Ship sweater, Betsy Johnson dress, etc, all name brand items, I asked for a receipt of my sold items and unsold items, they answered "we don't have a printer". more iThey could not/would not give me a receipt of what sold and for how much. (this is a service available on every consignment software, they were very honest and said they did not want to do that for their consignors). Manually we went through some of the sold items. NWT L.P, dress, retail $148, I received $15. Wooden Ships, retail $145, received $11. etc. Several of my items were not on my inventory, and several items on my account were not mine, I received $236 for a batch of great and varied name brand items for consignment (total retail value $1200.00 consigned) Their lack of record keeping/accounting is a sign of not being organized and more importantly not honest with their consignors. Along with Pied Piper in Cross Keys, it's one of the very best places in the area for children's clothing, toys, and gifts. My only constructive feedback is about the customer service approach. The staff is warm and friendly, but the level of attentiveness can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, especially for shoppers who prefer to browse before being approached. On one visit, we even overheard a comment between staff members about commissions, which felt out of place in front of customers. None of this takes away from how great the store is--it's a fantastic local shop with beautiful products. A slightly softer, more relaxed customer service style would make an already great shopping experience even better. We love WEECHIC and will continue to shop here.

All of the above from my initial experience with them would be left unreported if I hadn't had to deal with them after my first time in the store. After writing them a bad check (on accident) they claimed to have notified me via the mail (I had moved)...Having to deal with a bad check I received that cause several subsequent check I wrote to be bad it has taken me a while to recover from this. Their harassing voice mails were enough to make you cry. Threatening legal action for under 200...After I had sent them a money order (which they requested) to pay the amount due to them. Even after my sincerest apology the delay in payment due to unfortunate circumstances they speak to me as if I'm a criminal. Personally, I'd say the store is OK. The selection is limited and over priced, but, if you can afford it and are looking for a very specifically preppy type of a gift head there. We really need more people like her. She greeted me as soon as I walked in and helped me from the time I walked in til I left out. I was offered something to drink. They had soooo many nice compliment worthy pieces. Alise helped me pick out pieces for my vacation tomorrow. They are a one stop shop. They have bathing suits, clothes, jewelry, shoes, accessories, AND MAKEUP! Everything!! Kells, the makeup artist was also there. Both ladies had warm and welcoming spirits.
