I am also a volunteer and I host workshops at non profit organizations. I want to thank Gabe for signing my journals for the participants at Mrs. Wilson's Treatment center and The Milestone House. These are treatment centers for those overcoming addictions. By signing their journals you help set the tone for these workshops and as they write in their journals will stamp their journey as they continue. First off the Parish staff are amazing with what they do. Sister Ellen is very good with the children and gets them involved as much as possible, Ms. Dixon does an awesome job with handling the music ministry, even down to the lectors, ushers, etc, everybody else who contribute to a meaningful mass or any kind of celebration for that matter does a great job here. I've had the pleasure of listening to the words of Fr. Peter (May he rest in peace), Fr. Bob (He always had such good sense of humor!), Deacon Joe, Deacon Stephen and Fr. Tom who is simply amazing with sharing his faith and teachings. What I also appreciate about this parish is how giving they are to the people around them be it from the Parish itself or outside. The Parishioners are also involved and are very kind. If donations or any kind of help are needed, people from this parish jump in to help without second thoughts. You see smiling and familiar faces when you attend mass and it gives you a sense of belongingness not only in "body" but also in faith. Love that this Church embodies what it is supposed to, Love, Compassion, Honesty, Acceptance and so much more.

Pastors John and Elaine Orlando are so welcoming and loving and are such gifted speakers/preachers. The church used to be located near downtown Hackensack near the middle school, but this location is so much better. They transformed the upstairs of this office building into a gorgeous sanctuary. They have signs out front on Sunday so you will know where to park. Enter through the front door and go up the stairs or take the elevator. Once upstairs, there are rooms for infants and babies (childcare or where parents can go), a room for young kids, a kids ministry section for children through 5th grade, and a teen church area. At the end is the main worship room. The entire church wing is clean and beautifully painted and decorated. There's a waiting area out front as well. I love seeing all the people who attend each week -- from young families to singles to couples and the elderly. All the church staff is welcoming and friendly. They don't bombard you with questions or pressure you to keep coming. They just welcome you and offer you prayer or kind conversation. And if you have a talent to share, they welcome you to play an instrument or assist with church duties upon proper training. Worship begins with song and then a powerful message from Pastor John. He is a talented preacher, and you will be laughing and crying and feeling the Word of God. He's so funny and kind. My child enjoys the kids church and the young adults who lead that service, and my husband and I look forward to Sunday service! We used to go to Catholic Churches, but we really enjoy the family/community feel of this church and the message preached each week. It's truly life changing. They have communion once a month and family night on Wednesdays. Service is each Sunday starting at 11.

The church does not follow unexplained traditional rituals - instead the service is simple with singing from the Psalms, the reading of the Scriptures, and the preaching of the Bible. The preaching was done from the Bible and was full of depth, logic, and passion. The preaching fills my mind with a new understanding of God, and it moved my heart to a better understanding of God's will for my life. The fellowship is wonderful - whereby people don't rush out the door on Sunday, but visited with each other and talked together like old friends. I've looked for a good Bible-believing church for years and was grateful to find this gem in Northern New Jersey.
