Our students are trained to be SAFE Drivers, SKILLED Drivers and Drivers who are ready for the PROFESSION, not just ready to take a road test. The truck driving Industry is suffering from a national driver shortage, which is projected to increase significantly over the next few years. We are dedicated to our truck driving students and we want them to succeed. We have Professional Drivers training Professional Drivers and we are eager for our students to experience firsthand what actually makes us different from all the other Truck Driving Schools.

From the owner: The Differentiation…read more What separates Circle City Driving Academy from other driving schools is our commitment to incorporate mindfulness driving during the in-vehicle experience. Driving can be an incredibly stressful activity, but it can also be a tremendous opportunity to develop mindfulness. What this means for our students – When students drive motor vehicles, they usually experience tensions in the body, such as: (1) a knot in the belly, (2) hands that grip the steering wheel tightly, (3) a clenched jaw or (4) other related tensions that can prohibit effective driving. When students notice and can effectively address these experiences, it allows the body to relax to ensure a positive driving experience. We have an advanced, virtual classroom program that incorporates videos and other pertinent training materials that keeps our students engaged while completing their 30 hours of classroom training. The course is facilitated by experienced and knowledgeable instructors who are there to ensure students have the information they need to be a legal and safe driver.

It is already stressful to put this responsibility on parents when they removed behind the wheel from the schools. Now we have to deal with predatory companies TAKING our money! If I could give negative stars I would... will never recommend nor use again.

Initially I gave them a low rating because of the way they were releasing weekly drivers scheduling only on Fridays between 3-5pm. Although they are still doing that - you have to log in between those hours in order to schedule driving times for your student and you can only book 2 at a time - I have finally gotten the hang of it and they are now offering more driving slots so that my daughter is finally getting her driving lessons. Also, my daughter feels like she is getting good instruction and tips from the instructors she has driven with so far.

They both took the in-person class version, just at different times. Finding sessions offered was easily accessible on their website. I'm thankful that the available class times worked with my family's schedule. You had to call and schedule drive times and the driving test, sometimes they didn't answer the first time I tried, but eventually I would get through to someone. They were always friendly when I talked with them on the phone. I feel that this service was very useful for my boys, and the location was convenient for our family. My boys say they offer snacks to buy during class times and that the class is not bad. The earliest age to participate in a driver's education course in Indiana is 15 years old. I've had to enter the establishment several times, and it appeared small, clean, just enough space for the service they offer. I really appreciated this business!
