From the owner: Truck Driving School & CDL Training Indianapolis…read more Our driving school has been training professional drivers for several decades. Our students are trained to be SAFE Drivers, SKILLED Drivers and Drivers who are ready for the PROFESSION, not just ready to take a road test. The truck driving Industry is suffering from a national driver shortage, which is projected to increase significantly over the next few years. Think about it; most everything travels by truck at some point, and trucking companies are chomping at the bit to hire good, safe drivers. The truck driver profession is WHY we exist! We are dedicated to our truck driving students and we want them to succeed. We have Professional Drivers training Professional Drivers and we are eager for our students to experience firsthand what actually makes us different from all the other Truck Driving Schools.

I am rewriting and upgrading my review of AA Indiana Driving School to reflect our improved…read moreexperience with them. Initially I gave them a low rating because of the way they were releasing weekly drivers scheduling only on Fridays between 3-5pm. Although they are still doing that - you have to log in between those hours in order to schedule driving times for your student and you can only book 2 at a time - I have finally gotten the hang of it and they are now offering more driving slots so that my daughter is finally getting her driving lessons. Also, my daughter feels like she is getting good instruction and tips from the instructors she has driven with so far.

Now, our son has completed in-person classroom learning, and it was fine. But, it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to book his driving instruction hours. They post random availability on the 1st of the month, and then again on the 5th. There has never been availability that works with my son's school schedule. So, be prepared to pre-pay for drives that you can not book. This is insane! There always seems to be midday availability, but he is IN SCHOOL. Aren't the majority of drivers ed students in school? I am very disappointed in this experience. He only has so long to complete all of this, yet they make it impossible. Beware before you pay for classes & driving that you can not book. Today is 2/5/24 - And attached is a picture of the response that you will receive when trying to book any in-person drive instruction. It has been like this for 4 straight months.

We thought we were paying people to actually teach our kid how to drive. Nope. They are only grading your child's driving and telling you to take them out more. Yep, we're forking over hard earned money to be told that your kid needs more practice so than can pass their test EACH "LESSON" Why do I need you to grade my kid's driving? I need you to teach them. What a waste of money. Could you imagine sending your kid to the classroom portion and them coming back every day with a test grade based upon what the parent taught them? Insanity, right? Calling them is a 50/50 chance that you'll never get through or the person doesn't want to work and just sends you to their website Their name is essentially false advertisement. Totally regretting paying them.

They both took the in-person class version, just at different times. Finding sessions offered was easily accessible on their website. I'm thankful that the available class times worked with my family's schedule. You had to call and schedule drive times and the driving test, sometimes they didn't answer the first time I tried, but eventually I would get through to someone. They were always friendly when I talked with them on the phone. I feel that this service was very useful for my boys, and the location was convenient for our family. My boys say they offer snacks to buy during class times and that the class is not bad. The earliest age to participate in a driver's education course in Indiana is 15 years old. I've had to enter the establishment several times, and it appeared small, clean, just enough space for the service they offer. I really appreciated this business!
