We were there last night and it was just terrible. The DJ was horrible, the variety of music was terrible. It's supposed to be a more Spanish club, but it was more English music. We were there until almost 4am and we didn't hear not one bachata song nor merengue. Not even a salsa and we were there for like 3 hours. The services wasn't bad but just overall we were with a group of 8 and none of us enjoyed it. Safe to say we miss the old Amsterdam :/

We decided to head out for a rare trip to a dive bar late Saturday afternoon. We haven't really…read moredone a lot of that in the last couple years, but thought it would be fun. So, we checked around and found R Bar. Walking in, it looked like a typical little dive bar that you find in South Florida. It was kind of quiet. There were TVs on playing the games and music videos. They had the happy hour deals going for beer. I don't drink beer very often anymore for health reasons, but occasionally I can get away with it, so this seemed like a good setting to have some. I noticed they had another area sectioned off that had a pool table. It looked like there was room for dancing and other things in the other room. I started taking pics and the manager (Whitney aka Bella) was asking what I was doing, and I told her about Yelp. She was very interested and grabbed her phone and created an account. Next thing we knew, she was taking pictures of the bar. If you are seeing pictures on here now, they are mostly hers. Hubby said he thinks I created another Yelp monster. LOL I saw they had a really cool juke box, which I love. They had every song I searched for...ah the digital age! So I put on some tunes. People were really enjoying the music, and the place started really grooving. It was so much fun! We stayed much later than I had expected, and Bella got pizza, which I appreciated as I really didn't eat that much during the day. When Bella started handing out cuban coffee shots, I thought we better hit the road, as caffeine and I don't do well after the morning. A few notes on this bar. If you're a smoker, you can smoke here. If you're not, they have an excellent fan that clears the smoke out of the room very quickly. If you like places with a friendly neighborhood vibe and great deals on beer, you may want to check out R Bar.

However it's not that exciting in there. I can only imagine that this is because there are barely any seats, and they change the area into a bottles only venue. You can go in, you can buy drinks at the bar, and you can use a high table but you can't sit down. There's a space to dance, that's where most of the service tables are, but you can't use the areas and they are roped off for customers getting bottle service. To be honest if you're going to get bottle service, you might as well go to the bigger club next door. They should just leave this for general public kind of like their old bar Tequilla something, it had a mechanical bull ride in it. But Dj was pretty good, the crowd just wasn't there. This wouldn't be the first time. I've been a couple of times , and I would say only once was the place ever truly a packed house.

Was so focused on happy hour, I did not realize the location was more of a lounge. It's beautiful inside - very bright, colorful and clean. Lots of tables and seating areas, huge tvs, amazingly crisp sound system. Our server, Karen, was so friendly, welcoming and attentive. She explained happy hour recently started and the crowds really come in around 11pm because the lounge is open until 4am. The happy hour menu here is huge! My group of 3 was able to try several items and drinks from the happy hour menu. Everything was tasty with awesome drinks, especially the Lychee Delight and the BESSSSTTTT Piña Colada I've tasted in years! I will be going back soon for Karen and her piña colada making skills! There is a small parking lot out front but there were no available spaces. There is valet or parking on other nearby lots/streets. Overall, we had a great time hanging out, listening to music and enjoying the vibe. Hope to return for the late-night activities soon.

He was on it! There was never had a dirty table, no napkins on the floor or any empty plates of food I was quite impressed with him. he was quick and professional, I didn't get his name, but my hat goes off to Nadia. I think She is the manager if she wasn't, she should be because first of all she had everyone in check! she made sure that everybody played their role. I could tell the staff completely respected her not to mention she was sharp as a whip with her white outfit on. she was professional and very attentive. I was completely impressed with her. Being that I am a quality assurance manager for a large company I felt I had to acknowledged her professionalism. I had to tell her how impressive she was! I knew that she was running the show because I watched her working with the employees, she had a pleasant smile on her face and never look like she was stressed. This place was spotless and professional run. This place is a well run engine. My only concern was the red runner carpet in the front when you walk in, It was a safety hazard.
