My friend also went in to purchase a very expensive prada phone, she asked a lot of questions regarding the phone which most of them could not be answered satisfactorily. Instead of apparently using any sales skills or banter they let us walk out the door without purchasing a thing, while we had every intent on purchasing a phone, we will not use the carphone warehouse again as I believe in that particular branch, the shop is not maintained and the staff seem unhelpful.

Still trash service. However, increased the score. Went back the next day and the same guy helped us. He was very apologetic for the previous day and went out of his way to help us out. Still think Vodafone is worthless but this guy who helped us was phenomenal and basically saved the company in my eyes.

Like most chain stores i would not resommend going into this shop at the weekend as usually it is mostly filled by people eyeing up the latest handsets that are available (another good thing about Orange). To be honest i mostly use this store for minor quieries like handset problems or more top up credit. Personally I think Virgin have the slight edge on HMV in terms of having the cheaper prices for cds and the like. They also do some good deals with games consoles and I bought my Nintendo Wii from here last Christmas when they had them on special offer and it came with a few bundled games, all at a good price. Sales staff also seem to be very knowledgeable of the items that they sell.
