While I priced the big box stores as well, I also stopped in to see the folks at Floored. They were quick to help, and had an estimator on-site the next business day. Carpet was in stock and ready to go, and while the guys they sent out could have been on time, the whole install happened seamlessly. (unintended play on words - get it? Carpet? Seam? Nevermind). The one point I had a little issue with was some subfloor repair that I was told needed to be done. I have little doubt it needed to be done, but when I couldn't get out to see it for myself, perhaps some photos sent from the job site would have been a good service touch. Will continue to recommend.

Waited about 8 months for the bath remodel. He was the highest of all 3 bidders but somehow thought he would be the best. WRONG, huge money for a somewhat small bath. He would only give a few choices of items to choose from...dissatisfied with most of what I ended up. Was suppose to get a custom built vanity...instead got a small Home Depot lower end one. He measured my floor space incorrectly and did not have room for the extra section to be built onto the vanity....one of the main reasons for the remodel and I did NOT get that.
