The two girls were the friendliest, most bubbliest, informative store owners I've ever had the pleasure to come across!! Sisters who obviously have great pride and passion in their place. And I can see why. Such a great choice of knicky knacks. From candles for a few euro to beautiful paintings, I wanted to buy the lot!! The cafe is wonderful (we got a complimentary plate of biscuits cause of the size of our group!!) Loved it and will be back.

Grab a booklet on your way in to explain the different cottages and history. They say this is what life in the 19th century of an Irish village looks like. From the thatched cottages, fully furnished with antiques to the rural farm equipment throughout the village. Interesting to see the Kerry Bog Ponies and the super tall Irish Wolfhounds. These were very popular with all the visitors. Overall this place was fine to walk through and see how life was back in the day but after the visit you get a discount coupon for a hot Irish coffee at the Red Fox Bar... that's where the fun is!
