"Perfection, dedication and attention to detail" - When you look for a company to perform an…read moreextensive custom re-upholstery project on your prized possession, those are the words you want to hear. While searching for a team to transform my interior of my Maserati, I visited/interviewed many shops in Florida. The honest ones refused to submit a quote. By their own admission, the job I needed done was detailed and they did not feel "qualified" or "up to" the task. To be completely honest, some did not even know how to spell Maserati GranTurismo. I really thought I was at a dead end until I happened to find Bahamas Upholstery & Marine Canvas' website. When I was viewing their photo gallery, I was surprised to see photos of Maseratis. With nothing to lose, I gave them a call. Within minutes of speaking to William (the owner), I knew his company was going to do the job. He mentioned items about my car that only a seasoned craftsman with extensive Maserati knowledge would know. Since I lived 4 hours away from the shop, I sent him photos of my interior. Within a day he followed up with a phone call to iron out some details. He provided a realistic quote and a sincere commitment to my 100% satisfaction. Early the next week, I drove my car to his shop in Miami. While driving, I was concerned that once he saw the car, the price would increase. That was not the case. The transformation should have taken at least 8 weeks. William's entire team worked on the car day, night and weekends. The process lasted four weeks (one week sooner than originally quoted) William was in constant communication. Every few days I would get updated videos and phone calls. I would get text messages and videos as late as 10PM. It was truly a collaborative effort. It was a give and take of ideas with several important elements; my complete and total satisfaction and happiness. So today I picked up my GranTurismo and it was a jaw dropping moment. My Maserati has NEVER looked so great!!! I am sincerely indebted to William and his team who worked on my car at Bahamas Upholstery & Marine Canvas. Their attention to detail was amazing. My car looks better than when it rolled off the assembly in Modena Italy. The team at Bahamas Upholstery & Marine Canvas are true artists and perfectionists. So if you look up perfection, dedication and attention to detail in a dictionary; you will see a picture of Bahamas Upholstery & Marine Canvas.

And he delivered to perfection as he promised. Thank you Bahamas upholstery for such an incredible job. My car seat looks bright new. I highly recommend this business to anyone with upholstery or leather repairs etc

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I have been a long-time customer…read moreof Cartronics by the Falls. I had a complete audio system installed on a Mustang GT when they used to be located closer to the US 1. Also, at this location, I had tints done on my other Mustang GT about five years ago without any issue, but this time it was a complete disaster! My 2016 Audi A4 had tints installed at the dealership when I purchased the vehicle. Vehicle is nine years old, but only has 50K miles, sleeps in a temp controlled garage and is in perfect condition. Only two windows were starting to deteriorate and bubble up, so I decided to get all of them done at one time. I own several cars and I am very meticulous about their appearance and maintenance. I went by on a Monday and got an estimate from Rick, $430 which includes a $100 removal of old tint. OK I will drop it off on Wednesday and you can have all day to work on it. I arrived at 9:00AM on Wednesday and dropped it off with Ozzie (Rick is not there). I explained to Ozzie what Rick and I had discussed, but he seemed to be clueless and even confused. I quickly realized there is no appointment system or handoff of information. I left the car and went to work, but at 11:00AM Ozzie calls me and asks what is the car here for? Are you kidding me... I told him again what I wanted... complete window tinting. At 4:30PM I called and Rick tells me their having a hard time removing the rear window tint, but the car will be ready at 6:00PM when they close. I arrived at 5:30 and the car was nowhere near completed! I patiently waited and was assured everything was OK. When I got home, I looked over the tint job and every window had an issue; improper cuts, bubbles, creases, old tint still on the glass, debris and dirt! It was the worst tint job I have ever seen and I have had all my cars tinted since 1986! More importantly, there was blood on my back seat (I am assuming the person tinting or removing the old tint cut themselves with a razor), but this was supposed to be a computerized blotter where there is no cutting on the car... All pieces are cut externally by a computer program and then simply installed on the glass. Needless to say, I had to put on gloves, mask and decontaminate the leather seats with alcohol and then recondition the leather with a moisturizer. I called Rick on Monday and told him about the issue, but worse was the rear portion of the headliner at the back window which was now sagging... Rick said "that rear window was a bitch and we had to use a steamer to get the old tint off"... well the steamer also dissolved the glue holding the factory headliner! I made arrangements to drop it off again on Wednesday. I dropped off the car at 9:00AM Wednesday and explained to him the issues with the tint and the now sagging headliner. Rick said he will take care of everything! OK I go back to work. I called at 12:00PM since I had not heard back from anyone. They said car is ready come pick it up! I arrive within 15-20 min and car is NOT ready and headliner is still sagging... Also, Rick is nowhere to be found? Ozzie is working on my back window and the owner Phil is present. Ozzie gives me the keys and tells me its ready... I look at the back window and it is worse than their initial tint job. The edges look like they were chewed or cut with a steak knife! I show it to Phil and he completely agreed and told me to leave the car. I have a meeting to go too, so I cannot leave the vehicle, but I will bring it back at a later date. But wait, there's more... when I get in to start the car, the instrument cluster chimes "Rear center brake light"... they forgot to install the factory rear third brake light! WTF? I am now communicating via text and making arrangement directly with Phil, who says he will have another person come in and tint my car and take care of the center light which he says is a simple reset and he will look at the headliner. On Monday I drop it off at 9:30AM, this will be the THIRD time my car is in for tints! At 3:00PM Phil text me car is ready. I ask about the issues, he says tint is done, rear light is on and working but silent on the headliner issue. Phil finally says the headliner is old and starting to fall down, he can refer me to an upholstery shop, but eludes responsibility. I arrive at 3:30PM and no one knows anything about the car... is it ready or not? Phil is not there and Ozzie doesn't know anything... Finally, Rick arrives and gives me the keys and points me to the upholstery shop around the corner. I go and get an estimate... $850.00! I text Phil and his response is to shop around, but it's an old car. Obviously, he's not paying for the damage! Cartronics not willing to take responsibility for the headliner or even offer some compensation clearly tells me this place has no customer service, does not do quality work and lacks professionalism.
