I will not go to anyone else because she did such a great job the first time that I trust her fully with any case I may need to bring to her. She is also very supportive with providing information and helping me to understand some of the legal processes and terms I may have difficulty understanding. The customer service in all is amazing and the way they approach their clients cases. She is also very reasonable with pricing but overall such a great attorney which you can't compare anywhere else in Reno. I'll forever continue bringing any case and all to her and her legal team. Thank you again for all your hard work! Very appreciative!

My situation changed all-of-a-sudden and I was in need of some immediate legal services. I spoke with Patricia and her staff to cancel my existing appointment and hopefully find one sooner. Once she understood the nature of my request she called me and immediately fit me in to her schedule, even postponed scheduled time off to take care of my legal needs. I found her to be an honest, compassionate, knowledgeable, ethical, and caring individual. She listened to my needs and delivered the legal products that I needed quickly, competently and efficiently. I highly recommend the Halstead Law Offices and would give her 6 stars if I could.

She took time she truly didn't have to listen and guide me, and as a mother herself, she showed a level of understanding and empathy that most lawyers simply don't possess. Her compassion and willingness to help made a lasting impact, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a dedicated and truly empathetic attorney.

Kathleen is professional, experienced, respectful, honest, and fair. Kathleen was highly…read morerecommended to me by trusted colleagues. Like any attorney, Kathleen bills by the hour. Kathleen did not create contention or "drama." Her expertise and style (a strong advocate when necessary; willing to negotiate when in my best interest) resulted in lower billable hours. While most family law issues are "messy" and complicated, mine had the added layer of my faith beliefs. Kathleen gracefully managed to balance required legal processes and mandates, my best interests (from a legal perspective), and my faith-based needs and personal goals. [No small task!] My settlement was fair; allowed my children and me to stay in our home and continue to live a comfortable lifestyle. Because the settlement was equitable and Kathleen consistently kept the legal process on the "high road", we had the opportunity to heal hurts (and not create new ones). Kathleen's representation was a blessing. If you have family law needs, I highly recommend Kathleen Breckenridge.

Ms. Caffaratti represented my abuser in court proceedings. In that role, motions were filed that…read moreresulted in protective orders being dropped and required continued interaction with my abuser. Those outcomes were extremely harmful and retraumatizing for me. As a survivor of severe domestic violence, I have suffered life-altering physical injuries, including a double mastectomy due to blunt force trauma, removal of a significant portion of my chest cavity, and years of physical therapy related to neck injuries and nodules resulting from repeated strangulation. The legal outcomes in this case directly impacted my sense of safety while I was still coping with these serious medical consequences. I was 8 month pregnant when Ms. Caffaratti began assisting my domestic abuser. Based on my experience, I believe this advocacy showed a willingness to push ethical boundaries without adequate consideration for the real-world impact on survivors of abuse. This review reflects my perspective as someone directly affected by those legal actions.
