Very nice facility. You can use a machine or throw yourself with an L-screen. Baseballs were in great condition.

Easily accessible, as it's located just a few miles off of both the 101N and the 51. Competitive pricing, great space, and friendly staff.

I never knew this place existed until I came here for the grand opening of DNA Cards. I can imagine…read morehow busy this place could get, because an indoor sports venue seems perfect for Arizona's 120-degree summer! One complaint is the smell of sweat and mildew, with a mix of smelly feet. It was manageable, but definitely not pleasant.

Our soccer coach was able to secure some open space so our girls could practice (since it was 111…read moreoutside), which we were super grateful for. The main focus of the building is their batting cages and pitching tunnels. It seems like a great training space for baseball and softball players. There was a constant stream of batters and teams coming in and out. Our soccer team was down the way in an enclosed turf space and it was perfect for small sided drills, juggling, and foot work. Our team had so much fun training this way and mixing it up a little. I just kept thinking in the safe haven from the heat how the building has so much potential, but a lot of it is unoccupied. There is a large, gated in soft floor space, a restaurant space and an arcade type space. It would be awesome to have somewhere to do indoor training for other sports like soccer (goal shooting and accuracy) but also tennis (with a ball machine), lacrosse or golf. Anything needing long enclosed spaces with either machines or large goal/target set ups. It's quite loud, echoey, and constant cracks of the bats but there is seating all around for parents to wait and watch. You can definitely park down and get some work down with some headphones in though.

We were really hoping DBat would be a great way to help our son get into baseball, but after a few…read morevisits and a camp day, we're officially done. From day one, it was clear that support for beginners just isn't there. We asked multiple times for help using the batting cages since we're not baseball savvy, and each time were met with the same answer: "It's easy" or "Just put him in and figure it out." No explanation, no guidance, just major attitude. I felt like an inconvenience, not even a customer! We signed our son up for a summer camp hoping it would be a better, more structured experience. Unfortunately, it was just more of the same. At drop-off, staff couldn't find his name on the list and didn't have any formal check-in process. When we offered to walk him back (his first day!), we were told to just send him alone to "find the group." Once we found the group, it was hard to tell who was even in charge since there was no clear staff IDs or supervision. At pickup, we saw kids swinging bats way too close to each other with no one actively managing what was going on. Our son wanted to try the cages again, so we asked for help, this time from a front desk associate (white guy with a curled mustache), and we were once again met with a cold attitude. When we asked about private lessons that we'd be willing to pay for, his only response was "whatever" with no effort to explain how to sign up or get more info. What sealed it for us was the lack of any real safety measures. No one checked who was picking up kids. No sign-in or sign-out, no ID check ....nothing. That's a huge red flag for any parent. Our son wanted to love this place, and we really tried to give it a chance. But the lack of guidance, professionalism, and basic safety makes this a hard no for us. *** Update *** After raising these concerns, I received a call from the manager who firmly disagreed with my feedback. They insisted safety wasn't an issue because they do a safety brief with the kids and that staff did their best despite "doing a thousand other things." They also clarified that DBAT, like other batting cages, doesn't have someone available to help users, something that directly contradicts the impression given on their site and materials, given they list that there are instructors. Again if an instructor needs to be scheduled, the guidance and help of knowing who and what to book on the website would be the first step in providing a reasonable level of customer service. When I asked for a refund for the upcoming unused camp day, they declined and stood by their approach. I let them know the call was unproductive and that we were clearly in complete disagreement. At this point, we will not be returning. If you're new to baseball and looking for guidance or a welcoming environment for your child, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.
