The girl in Edmonton who answers is pleasant and forwards me to Calgary office , where nobody picks up the phone. She then promises to have them call me. It has been 2 months with no reply. I will get another company to make me a new door , but what a shame.

Bow Valley Kitchen was friendly, professional, and interested in my business. My initial contact was Frank, who is an owner of the company and after hearing what type of kitchen I was looking for, directed me to Bernie. He was extremely patient during the design process and designed the perfect kitchen for the space, keeping everything within my budget. Of course friends were curious as to our kitchen progress and when I told them of the design and price, their reaction was that Bow Valley Kitchens were high end and I should look around. One of my 3 preferred choices, 1 didn't even bother to draw up a design even after visiting my home and the other quote was within 1% of Bow Valley. My impression is that Bow Valley Kitchens do indeed do very high end kitchens if that is what the client wants but give equally good service to smaller more modest jobs such as mine. The final kudos and very important to potential customers came from the appliance installers. I currently have them repairing the sidewalk around our office. What impresses me about Jarrod and his crew is not just the quality of work, but the promptness with which they address your issues. The level of customer service with which you are provided is outstanding. Site Supervisor, Brandon Diakow and his team are mindful of tenants, go out of there way to keep work areas clean, take the time to explain to concerned tenants the work they are doing and are cognizant of the fact these are people's live/works areas. The level of care with which you are provided is unexpected and the attention to detail in their work is incredible. It is not often that you come across contractors who care about their clients and take such pride in their work. I am grateful to have Gator Concrete as one of my preferred contractors.

Some of the workmanship was faulty and shoddy and I have been fighting him tooth and nail to get him to do anything to fix it but he refuses to even look at the work! If you are searching for a Calgary bathroom renovation company to do some work for you -keep looking! Beware of the battle if you hire Calgary Fun and Function Renovations to work in your home. Poor workmanship, shoddy workmanship, no customer service, no warranty is what you'll get. He was careless in protecting our homes existing surfaces getting paint on our hardwood floors, our daughter's new bedroom furniture, and built in shelving, and he put very large scratches in our banister. He said he would fix these things - never did. He is unable to manage large jobs. Lots of yes, yes, it will get done, but then you come home everyday and wonder what work was done that day. No accountability. Beware if you are paying for the materials - that's one of the tricks played at Calgary Fun and Function Bathroom Renovations - Pete Palffy says its to save you money, but really its because he will throw it back in your face later saying "the materials are defective" and not honour any warranty for you.
