It seems like you can get Anyang you dream up in your garage from these guys. Every time I go into the shop I am greeted with friendliness. My parents got their garage done and it looks amazing my cat is so happy now in his new space I think he feels like a king! And now the neighbours are getting theirs done too. I think the quality of work speaks for itself. Oh and one day I want a 3-d wall I think they are just too cool!

I have phoned 6 times for service to order a new door with no reply. There is no direct line into the Calgary office and the mainphone directs you to edmonton. The girl in Edmonton who answers is pleasant and forwards me to Calgary office , where nobody picks up the phone. She then promises to have them call me. It has been 2 months with no reply. I will get another company to make me a new door , but what a shame.

When we designed our kitchen we included drawers..... but not quite enough. So we had a roll out drawer on our minds when I got an email Renovation Find that Custom Roll Out Drawers was offering a free roll out drawer to the first 50 people. How could we pass that up? Obviously, we couldn't! Sandy was super helpful and called me the same day to come in and pick up some information on the drawers and to see how to measure, then I placed the order over email and a week later it was ready. It was quick and easy to install and I can definitely see us adding some more over time depending on our kitchen needs. I'm using it to store my spices at the moment and its super handy.

Learn more Trades beware Sebastien the owner of Calgary Custom Cabinetry/ VIP Construction will not pay you I had to hound this guy for over a year to get paid for one job and still have not been paid for another. Home owners be careful you may find liens on your home from trades not being paid . His other company VIP construction look up the reviews and you will see how he was in trouble with the City for not complying to running his business properly and had huge fines to pay. Before I did these jobs for him over a year ago I had him install a kitchen , I designed it and was given a price of $16000 I added $3000 dollars of extras and when all was said and done was given a bill for $24000 his calculater must be different than mine.. The address on this review isn't where his shop is he has moved twice since then I had to show up unannounced at his new location to get paid he had no intentions of ever paying me and I know of one other person he owes $7000 and will not pay for work done. Take your business to reputable company and avoid headaches that could last for years. I'm done chasing this guy the small amount he owes me now he can choke on it and hopefully this review costs him thousands of future earnings. Guys like him should not be allowed to reopen the same type of business under a different name and continue ripping off hard working trades people or taking advantage of home owners by over charging . We have bills to pay and families to feed just like every other hard working person. Signed contract with V.I.P. Construction Ltd. in October 2012 to renovate our kitchen. By March…read more2013 realized that our kitchen wouldn't be finished anytime soon. No timelines, no customer service, inadequately trained staff and what little work was done was so poorly done it had to be ripped out. We ended up firing V.I.P. in August 2013 and hiring a real company to complete the work. They noted all kinds of errors - cabinets built so some where higher than others, cabinets were of different depths, poor quality materials and basic lack of any knowledge of cabinetry making. This company advertises on various websites (others are www.calgarycustomcabinetry.ca and www.fortmacmurraycustomcabinetry.ca). It is a member of the BBB, however it has no rating. Call the BBB to find out why. Things to look for when considering a renovation company: don't believe the website pictures (these can be copied and don't necessarily reflect the company's product); in Alberta, check with Service Alberta re: what a contract is to contain and whether the company is permitted to accept prepayments (there are regulations with respect to prepaid contractors) and ask to see the credentials of staff of the company. In our case, the "President" claimed he would be doing the work; however, once hired we only saw young, inexperienced staff on-site and unsupervised. If we'd known what this company is like, we would never have hired them.
