The Burgh Bus was an absolute blast. On Saturday I rode the bus for their special Hop N' Roll Taproom event with Inner Groove Brewing. There was music, comedy, bubbles, karaoke and of course, beer I can't think of a more entertaining way to explore Pittsburgh. Such an awesome time and attraction right here in our own city. Bus is a modified school bus, for all Intensive purposes it's still a school bus just looks cooler. Comedian was funny and a fun time. Dr ver was great and safe. They provided IC and light beer which is iconic to the area. Definitely a must do if you are in town, either local OR from out of tahn. We had a blast on the 'Burgh bus tour! Had a small group and sat near the front of the bus. Our tour guide / comedian was Matt 'Bud' Light and he did a great job keeping us laughing throughout the ride. It is an interactive comedy trip and he did a great job connecting with the crowd to make topical jokes along with the local 'burgh humor. We were on the adult tour and not disappointed. Thinking of doing again with a larger group. BYOB coolers let us enjoy our favorites. Fun time. read more

I love doing tours when visiting a new city, especially non traditional ones. This was unfortunately terrible. $39 to be driven around the city with really nothing of interest noted except football facts. Wasn't really any comedy other than putting down a few random other football teams. My favorite part was the apparent tour guide essentially cat calling a woman on the street and throwing in some misogynistic comments. If you wanna get wasted at 1pm, drive around listening to karaoke jams, and occasionally watch other drunk passengers on the tour actually do karaoke, this is the tour for you. Otherwise you're better off setting your money on fire and walking/driving around on your own. read more

We were scheduled to go on the bus. We were all outside and received a text 20 minutes before the tour to let us know the bus trip was canceled for mechanical issues. I understand those things happen but with everyone that was going we probably would've had fun if it broke down on tour We had people out of town come in to experience this for the first time. Although we are getting a full refund my suggestion is to get another bus or have someone check it earlier in the day if possible to prepare it, so if there was an issue we could have avoided the traffic and parking. I don't want to give a bad review because we still want to do it in the future but just some suggestions. So hopefully next time. read more

I booked the night comedy tour and it was a blast! The comedian, Matt, was so much fun. He was funny and the bus played a nice mix of music. You can bring your own bottle & having a group of friends adds so much to the experience. We were cutting UP on this bus. The bus tours the Northside, Strip District, and South Side of Pittsburgh. The tour is about an hour and a half long with a rest stop in between. read more

So much fun! Whether you are a tourist or a yinzer this is a must. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and we were able to get a decent amount of tickets just a few days prior. It's BYOB which is amazing. They are sponsored by IC Light and they give you complimentary beers. My husband was beyond thrilled. The comedians were hilarious and entertaining, but the crowd on the bus was rowdy and it was difficult to hear them. They definitely need make a mid stop bathroom break!!! Drinking adults cannot hold their bladders. Worth every bit if $35 a ticket. We will for sure go again ! read more

1.0 star rating 8/21/2022 A comedy tour bus is fun idea, but the Burgh Bus wasn't successful in implementing the concept. Alleged comedian Connie Dusak was ill-prepared to lead the tour. She was the last person on the bus, and she scrambled to sort a pile of papers on the podium as the bus took off from the bus stop. After some paper-shuffling, she landed on one yellow page of hand-written notes, and she read about a paragraph of content. This was the best few minutes of the tour, but she couldn't keep up with the pace of. the tour and the disorganized notes, so she abandoned the script. Connie spoke from a podium facing the back of the bus, which further illustrated her lack of preparedness. She identified some landmarks when they came into her view, which meant they were often beyond the view of the forward-facing passengers. When she pointed out landmarks, she described seeing something "on the left" when they were on her left, but on the right side of the bus as viewed by the forward-facing passengers. Connie wasn't particularly funny, either. She tried to make humor from holding up a photoshopped image of Fred Rogers holding up his middle finger, and when her first attempt didn't work she kept on trying without success. As the trip progressed, the music got louder, and the muffled commentary became more difficult to comprehend. After the "potty stop" in a warehouse parking lot on the South Side, we just sort of gave up on listening to Connie. It wasn't worth the effort. This is a BYOB bus ride, and it seems that arriving with an elevated blood alcohol level is an essential component of the ride. If you run out of alcohol, they sell more at the potty stop. However, the level of intoxication required to enjoy this ride wasn't advisable for our 1:00 p.m. departure. It's a sad little bus ride. Travelers who don't need to travel with an open container of alcohol will find a good guide book and a $7 Pittsburgh Regional Transit day pass to be a better alternative. read more

This is such a fun and different way to see Pittsburgh! My sister-in-law and I rode one of the R-Rated tours hosted by Matt Light on a spectacular evening. It is BYOB, so we brought a cooler with some canned adult beverages :-) The tour takes you all over the city. We thought it was especially cool to go over so many bridges and really take in the beauty of Pittsburgh. Matt the host had us laughing the entire ride... we sang along to favorite songs, interacted with people on the street, and honestly just had such a blast! What an awesome experience! We will most definitely be riding the Burgh Bus again! read more
