Inviting place with a big old fire, homecooked food, friendly staff.
The ribs were accompanied with homecooked chips (yum), homemade creamy coleslaw (red cabbage), side salad, did add on a portion of cajun flavoured onion rings, there was too much for a lunchtime even without having breakfast, good value for money. Some of the meals are available for takeaway, good idea.
Partner thought the drinks were a bit on the expensive side, pint of foster & a half of coke just over £5.00.
A excellent choice of wine & single malt whiskey.
They hold themed lunches/nights - St George's Day, Mexician, Easter, etc.
Will visit in future. read more
