The reviews on Google were very good, so I came and was happy with the results. Julie is a sweet lady. She has one of the lightest touches of any threader I've been to. So pain level was low. I have a lot of hair, so I usually talk to the threader for a couple minutes about the shape I'm going for. Otherwise, it could go in many different directions. She understood immediately what I wanted. She actually taught me a little more about what shapes would look best on my face. She also waxed my lip and I barely felt anything. The next time I visit this city, I'm definitely going to call ahead and try to book a few more services. It's not easy for people in smallish cities like this to find good eyebrow artists. If you live here, you're lucky to have this place and you should give Julie a try.

I really could not find anything negative or to complain about after my first visit here. I was…read moreattempting to book several services all in 1 trip but it didn't work out. When I initially tried this, I decided to go on a waitlist. They called me to inquire what services I wanted and offered services on different days. One service I wanted was a haircut, to which I was offered an appointment the following evening. Great! I was scheduled with Kaitlyn and she did an amazing job. She had asked each time she cut if the length was okay, which I appreciated. I made appointments when checking out for a gel manicure and dermaplaning facial. I wanted a massage also but the therapist was going on leave I believe. I arrived for my facial and manicure appointment and was given this clipboard that contained about ten pages of forms for me to fill out for the facial. I usually don't mind that but it was never reviewed. My facial was first and it was probably the quickest I ever had. It was not very relaxing and all it involved was dermaplaning, some steam, and maybe a moisturizer. Next was my manicure. One of the worst manicures. It was like it was her fist time. It was very sloppy and polish was missing on 1/3 of each nail. After that, I again researched where I can find services in Ocala for these needs. I wanted to try again because I wanted a haircut and Kaitlyn was great. I also wanted highlights or color but was unable to do both in the same day. I told Kaitlyn I wanted a little longer than shoulder length. It was cut about 4 inches shorter than that. So yeah, you cannot fix chopped off hair so I was screwed. I still made the attempt to come the following day for highlights. They were totally uneven. I still made the dumb mistake to make another appointment for a dermaplaning facial and massage. I mentioned how previously nothing was done in the facial and when the receptionist looked it up, it was scheduled as only dermaplaning. I reiterated I wanted a facial with the dermaplaning, which she put in this time and assured me the service would be better. So the earliest appointment was a month away. I kid you not, the day of, I receive a voicemail stating Dawn was sick and unable to come in so they cancelled my appointment. Oh but they offered a 10% discount and to call to reschedule. I am not sure why Ocala has so many flaky spa employees (this was 2nd business I experienced these issues). The saving grace was all the staff was polite, it was clean and sterile, and beverages and snacks were offered.

I had originally booked an appointment for micro-needling, the worker suggested laser for my…read moreconcerns. I booked a month in advance for 2:30pm and the treatment didn't actually start until 4:00pm. I had asked when I got there how long it will take because I had to pick up my son at 4pm and they said I would have more than enough time. (I left at 5:30pm and had to call someone to pick my son up) Prior to all that, I was called into a room by Dr. Arviv with 3 other girls making it super awkward for me, telling me that the laser wouldn't be right for me and suggested other options that were in the range of 4K-8k. Bait and switch at its finest. I told her that was not in my budget and her attitude completely changed and made me feel bad for not being able to afford that and asked "well then what is in your budget?" I told her what I came here for, which was the laser that I had already paid and Dysport. I asked if I can just get a refund for what I already paid and she said no, and that she would then have to charge me a consult fee even though their promotion states free consultations. Then she said I could use the money towards any other service. She put me on the spot and then said they can do the micro-needling (which was what I initially asked for). Then when speaking about the Dysport she said I would need at least 50 units (which I've done less before) but went along with her to not piss her off even more since she was the one about to poke my face. The girl who did the micro-needling was super sweet and the receptionist as well. I even expressed my concern to her about that interaction stating it felt like Dr. Arviv was about to throw punches at me and she joked saying "it's the Israeli in her" I don't care where you're from, you don't treat a new customer like that. I regret getting the Dysport done by someone that already felt some type of way about me. It's been two weeks and my forehead lines are even worse than they were before. I've had people comment on my lines saying they look worse than ever and I don't even know how that is possible but maybe was done on purpose. I have done less units and have had way better results within 3 days. I reached out to them and they offered to add more but would you really go back to a place where they treated you poorly and will probably be pissed that I'm coming back to get something fixed? Not to mention it was the most painful Dysport experience and I've been doing this for a while now. Something didn't feel right. I asked for a refund and of course they said no. So I wasted money going here and had the worst experience at this place and now will have to spend more money to fix it with someone who actually knows what they're doing. Do not let good reviews fool you. All their Facebook reviews are fake scammers talking about bitcoin and nothing to do with Arviv. I've included a picture I took before I got the Dysport done and two weeks after. Trust me, go elsewhere.
