This place absolutely saved my life this week. Unfortunately, I have to stay in good ol' Williston, ND about once a year since it's smack-dab in between two clients of mine. As many know, the oil boom has made lodging in Williston hard to come by. My usual Hampton Inn was sold out months before, and even with Diamond status with Hilton, still couldn't book a room.
After Best Western completely screwed up my reservation, I was thankfully able to get a room for two nights here, and in a way I'm kind of glad my reservations got derailed. This place is a total breathe of fresh air in the, um, interesting town of Williston.
This hotel has full-service amenities (including room service, a 24-hour pantry for microwaveable meals and other accoutrements, gym, pool, and full bar) and ran me about $299/night, which is pricey, but you don't really have much choice out here. It might be cheaper if you book it in advance when you don't have other hotels dicking your reservations over.
The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, something hard to come by 'round these parts. There's your usual drunken riff-raff that come around at night (fat hookers and loud, drunken rednecks) but as long as you stay in your room it's not that bad. It's WILLISTON. Cuddle up in the free robe they give you, watch a movie on the free fast wi-fi, and be grateful you don't have to live out here. read more
