This place is NOT for your high end RV Resort crowd! BUT it…read morewas a good place to stop during a high wind storm. I'm talking our entire coach was lifting up in the huge wind surges. I called and a delightfully voice said come on over and she gave us great directions. Side bar it is well off the highway on a dirt road. And there aren't any signs to direct you. When we arrived Ashley took us to a spot. Then she said if this is too windy I have places that have wind blocks. We were exhausted from fighting the wind and we were thrilled to just be able to stop for the night. In the morning we realized this is very much an oilman's camp. It's is all gravel. Not a blade of grass here. Not great for my pooches. But again we were so happy to have a place to gather ourselves we didn't care. We even stayed an extra day to go shopping at the Walmart down the road and do our laundry (which is another issue) and get ready to press on. On the surface the laundry room looked ok but I quickly realized more machines were broken than worked. Ashley quickly gave me refunds for the machines that ate my quarters then didn't seem to have power. Anyway we came, we rested, we move on. And Ashley was awesome!

People have broke into our camper and stole from many residents. From 8-4:30 you get the boat and a full tank of gas for $650. It was a great day to be on the lake and the kids had so much fun. Of course, we got our Juneberry pie after the boat ride.

When walking around, we encountered inappropriate behavior by other guests, that included extreme sagging. We had to switch rooms. Next, we only got two towels upon arrival. When we asked for some towels at the front desk, the lady rudely informed us that there were no towels at all, not even a hand towel. We then asked for toilet paper and she muttered under her breath "I hate people." Definitely not family friendly. We also learned "the gym has a leak" so we were unable to use it. If you like cold eggs and stale cereal in a gum ball machine, this is the place for you. Be prepared to bring your own toiletries. Be sure to pack a towel if you want to stay clean.

This place absolutely saved my life this week. Unfortunately, I have to stay in good ol' Williston,…read moreND about once a year since it's smack-dab in between two clients of mine. As many know, the oil boom has made lodging in Williston hard to come by. My usual Hampton Inn was sold out months before, and even with Diamond status with Hilton, still couldn't book a room. After Best Western completely screwed up my reservation, I was thankfully able to get a room for two nights here, and in a way I'm kind of glad my reservations got derailed. This place is a total breathe of fresh air in the, um, interesting town of Williston. This hotel has full-service amenities (including room service, a 24-hour pantry for microwaveable meals and other accoutrements, gym, pool, and full bar) and ran me about $299/night, which is pricey, but you don't really have much choice out here. It might be cheaper if you book it in advance when you don't have other hotels dicking your reservations over. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, something hard to come by 'round these parts. There's your usual drunken riff-raff that come around at night (fat hookers and loud, drunken rednecks) but as long as you stay in your room it's not that bad. It's WILLISTON. Cuddle up in the free robe they give you, watch a movie on the free fast wi-fi, and be grateful you don't have to live out here.
