I'd asked when we checked in if I could have an extra 30 mins on the checkout and was told that this was no problem and asked for my room number. When I left my room after the posted check out time the key was turned off, and I had to go to the front desk to turn it back on again. Complaints about these problems were simply met with a shrug and a promise to fix them later. The breakfast was typical Sysco instant eggs etc, edible, but that is about it. I've stayed in other hotels in Williston. I think you can do a lot better for the price this place charged. I'd never stay here again.

When I checked in 15 mins after changing the reservation, they greeted me warmly, let me know each Monday thru Thursday morning that they serve light appetizer meals and complimentary wine and beer, sodas and bottled water. They also set out some fruit as well. Their breakfast was nice: waffle maker, scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, sausage, toast, hot oatmeal, cereal, Danson yogurt, oranges and apples, and their robust coffee was good. My room accommodations were nice. The put me in a two queen room. It has a desk area, and seat, flat. Screen TV, microwave and fridge. They provide mouthwash, soap shampoo conditioner, shoe polish kit and a make-up remover in the room. The room also had a 2 USB outlet and two outlet adapter on the lamp in between the beds and a separate alarm clock. It was a nice touch. The pool area has a heated pool and the hot tub was closed until further notice. The pool goes from 3ft to 4.5 ft. Not very deep, which I like. The fitness center had free weights, differ My rate was 199 per night.

As many know, the oil boom has made lodging in Williston hard to come by. My usual Hampton Inn was sold out months before, and even with Diamond status with Hilton, still couldn't book a room. After Best Western completely screwed up my reservation, I was thankfully able to get a room for two nights here, and in a way I'm kind of glad my reservations got derailed. This place is a total breathe of fresh air in the, um, interesting town of Williston. This hotel has full-service amenities (including room service, a 24-hour pantry for microwaveable meals and other accoutrements, gym, pool, and full bar) and ran me about $299/night, which is pricey, but you don't really have much choice out here. It might be cheaper if you book it in advance when you don't have other hotels dicking your reservations over. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, something hard to come by 'round these parts. There's your usual drunken riff-raff that come around at night (fat hookers and loud, drunken rednecks) but as long as you stay in your room it's not that bad. It's WILLISTON. Cuddle up in the free robe they give you, watch a movie on the free fast wi-fi, and be grateful you don't have to live out here.

Service is basic and not as helpful as you would think based on first impressions. It's nice looking soon as you walk in but don't let that fool you. Music on loudly in lobby which doesn't seem to bother you at first unless you have a room just above the lobby area. AT 10pm is loud as hell. Of course I asked them to turn it down and they turn it off for the nigh. There's breakfast in the morning in a large room just beyond the front desk but the downside is that they have reconstituted eggs and microwaved bacon so I'm eating out because that just turns me off in the morning. I'll grab a banana and that's about it. There's a work out room with free weights & cardiovascular equipment. There's both an indoor hot tub and pool next to each other and some tables and chairs on the inside pool deck..towels provided but if you're a female, I suggest to pass it up since all the perverted men come down there and probably pee in the water. There's an outdoor sun patio with chaise lounge chairs to relax in but for my stay, the construction of the parking lot paving and building across the street isn't desirable at all. But..it will eventually complete and you can relax when its all done that's if all the perverted men in town aren't staring at you up and down. God forbid you look them straight in the eye. They would construe that as an invitation. They have free coffee, tea and hot water all day in the same room they serve breakfast..nothing special. Property is near the main drag so you can access everything fast but watch out for careless drivers. It's all an accident waiting to happen. Wal-mart is next door as is the airport and once again it's perv central. You can walk to both although I wouldn't suggest it. Do your homework about this town first before you venture out on foot. It's not something you see around here I almost forgot to mention that if you travel with any valuables and you'd like to lock it up..each room is equipped with a safe in the closet that you choose your own pin to use. If you get lower level rooms, be prepared to hear stomping of elephants above you. People here have no consideration for the folks below them and in addition if you are in a room on the 1st level near the lobby, you hear absolutely everything..so I can't stress it enough. Bring your earplugs but hopefully you can hear your alarm go off in the morning. So far every night I've been here thus far (6 nights) I've been awakened to slamming of doors, noisy lobby sound system that's way too loud (apparently the installer put speakers in wrong), neighboring rooms who patrons can't find their "inside' voice etc. I feel like a walking zombie most days. I get to leave here for another establishment on the 1st. Thank you for small miracles. I hope my next experience is better.

It is bright and inviting, but the rest of the hotel is visibly old. The staff working the reception were hit or miss. A couple were helpful, and a couple were downright rude There are two levels that interconnect in confusing manners. There are odors that are incredibly unpleasant. There is an indoor pool with water slides in the center. Sometimes you can smell the chlorine in the hallways. There is a workout room, but it is one of the saddest workout rooms I've ever seen. A home gym would probably have more equipment, better lighting, and would be more inviting The rooms are spacious enough, but the furniture and everything is visibly old and run down. The bathroom was clean ish, but old, and I spent as little time in there as needed There is a restaurant and "The Tavern," which from the outside looks cheesy, but the interior is just as confusing as the rest of the hotel. There is a modern looking bar with a gas fireplace right next to slot machines. The service was less than exceptional. Drinks took forever, and the menu prices were outdated, and when the check came we were told these were the new pieces The thing that got me the most about this hotel is there are no elevations. We had huge pelican cases with equipment, and we were booked on the second floor because the first flood was full. It was an absolute pain lugging the suit cases and gear up and down the stairs Some tips: There are some restaurants and a Walmart in walking distance. The Hotel from Hell: A Cautionary Tale Disguised as a Review…read more I want to start this with a warning--not just a review. This place lures you in with kind smiles and a deceptively beautiful lobby, like a siren's song calling you straight into a nightmare. Yes, the staff is lovely. But even the friendliest faces can't save you from what lurks beneath the crumbling facade of this forsaken establishment. My horror began in the parking lot. A cursed wasteland of potholes so deep I thought I'd fallen into the underworld. My car now pulls hard to the left, as if it, too, is trying to escape what lies inside. Pavement? Uneven and jagged. I suspect it shifts at night--maybe by design, maybe by something... older. Inside, things seem normal. Too normal. That kind of unsettling calm that makes you question your instincts. The lobby is warm and welcoming, the staff cheerful. But don't be fooled. That's where the charm ends. If you're staying during the week, you might survive. But heed my warning: never stay here on a weekend. That's when they arrive--the wedding parties. You see, some madman (or sadistic architect) once had the brilliant idea to build an internal ballroom surrounded by guest rooms. That's right--your room opens into the chaos like you're staying inside a nightclub... or a sonic torture chamber. It's as if someone tried to trap joy itself in a steel box and blasted it through industrial speakers aimed directly at your soul (and your room's paper-thin walls). And the music? It never ends. The bass reverberates through the floorboards, each thump like a heartbeat you can't escape. The creepiest part? Some of the rooms appear to have once opened into a pool. Doors and windows stare blankly into the ballroom like the ghost of a past life. You can still hear whispers behind them--echoes of laughter from weddings that happened decades ago, maybe longer. I opened my window once. Just once. The noise rushed in like a banshee scream. I swear I saw something move across the dance floor. But when I looked again... nothing. Just empty chairs. And a single balloon slowly deflating. Worst of all? I wasn't even part of the wedding. But the hotel sold me the room anyway. Like a lamb to the slaughter. I didn't dance that night. I didn't sleep either. I just laid there, staring into the dim ballroom light, listening to the haunting soundtrack of someone else's celebration--and my own descent into madness. TL;DR: Stay here if you want to lose your alignment, your sleep, and quite possibly your sanity. Five stars for the staff. Zero stars for everything else. Run.

They have a tiny gym with 3 machines and 2 weights, a nice place to get away to be active. The pool wasn't open when we came and they also have a conference room available too. I think the best part of the hotel is the vicinity to Walmart, literally a 2 minute walk away. It's also pretty close to the Main Street with restaurants. I'd recommend it, only thing is our key card kept acting up and sometimes wouldn't open our room. Luckily, we were on the first floor so it was easy to get it reset at the front counter.
