    I had a 16th birthday party here recently. This venue gave me some red flags closer to my party…read moredate but I kept with them because I liked the blank canvas of the space. 1. The husband gave me a contract, but the wife tried adding new charges to the balance. 2. They charged me $450 for an extra hour at the venue 3. They broke down my party and turned on the lights one hour before the party was set to end, once they did that my guest assumed the party was over. it was not! 4, They price gouged every thing they offer so I had to outsource which made it more stressful an event to plan, i.e $5000 for a balloon backdrop and 10 modest center pieces. 5. They only want to be paid in cash @irs.gov 6. They insist on security, I thought that was great but their security guy wore a ski mask which was very intimidating to my guest, he wouldn't remove it. 6. They add 20 percent gratuity to the venue rental I asked why, They stated to cover the cleaning staff. I was ok with that except when I asked one for help he said no, he was standing on a carpet while I tried to fix it, he walked through the beginning of my kids entrance and the other asked us to move so he could clean I said we still have time here I paid for extra time he tried to square up with my sister! I literally paid $450 extra so these people could clean and mop while we were there?! I was quoted $3000 to rent the space, by the time they finished with their own inflation and add ons my bill was $7,130!! After going to different vendors to pickup things for the party turns out they have a reputation for all of these practices stated. STAY AWAY!!!! This was a once in a life time event for me and my family. They ruined it. I paid for 8 hours and essentially got a 3 hour party. I feel like they were sabotaging me. I did not fight or argue with them because karma will take care of itself. I've been so angry with these people for this being the memories I'll have of such a special occasion. I pray in time my anger dissipates and I'll focus on the good.

I had the best time and my guest loved the venue!! The venue is huge and can hold a large amount of guest.

    I came here for a girlfriend's bridal shower one weekend and I'm amazed I never even knew this…read morevenue existed in my neighborhood! It's a perfect space for a small function. The way they decorated was perfect with buffet food service and a mimosa/bellini station. Guests were also able to purchase beverages at the bar and the bartender also provided us with plenty of ice cold water which was nice on such a hot and humid day. They have clean bathrooms and many opportunities to personalize an event. I would definitely suggest this space to friends for a bridal or baby shower and any other small scale party or event.

I had my Uncle's 90th birthday party there and it could not have been more perfect. We had eleven tables with ten seats at each table and there was still plenty of room to dance. It was immaculately clean, the layout of the bar, coat room, bathroom, kitchen, tables, dance floor, the buffet table area, and a small stage area for the music was the perfect layout. It was also easily accessible to walk in for the elderly or for wheelchairs. Frank was such a great help in renting the hall to me, and Tricia, that manage the party, prepared everything for me the day of the party. She was not only professional, she was exceptionally personable and could not have been more helpful, or work any harder, to make my party the success that it was. I could not be more thankful to both of them. It is also a great central location for my family coming from Long Island, Queens, Rockland County and NJ. Definitely a great place to have any type of a celebration. I am sure to be back!

    Over priced venue with no extras no table cloths no table decor. Only a double baby shower chair…read morethat's filthy. Can't be removed only turned around. Only tables and chairs included. Manager is a pain in the ass!!! Stands around watching and complaining about everything but doesn't offer any solutions. Can't even turn on birthday candles to sing happy birthday.     My friend hosted an event here. This venue is perfectly sized for mid sized events. There are…read moretables (rounds of ten) chairs, cushions, chair slip covers (for an additional charge)a couple of cocktail tables with wraps, table clothes ($10 per table) large specialty white chair with matching foot stool, food service area, ice machine, ice/beverage containers, lighting, beverage refrigerator, counter space and service table. The bathroom is clean and modern. You are responsible for bringing your own decorations or hiring a professional, thank goodness the host is an excellent decorator! The place is well kept. For a four hour event, two hours prep time is provided. I thought it was reasonably priced at $800. This does not include tax, security deposit, etc. The reason I am giving them three stars is: 1) The owner reneged on verbal commitments that three individuals heard, myself included. Get everything in writing! One example, He claimed he made a mistake in stating tablecloths were included in the price, only to back peddle and say, he meant to say they are only included in evening events; 2) The owner was misleading in his presentation of the place (there is a floor to ceiling screen available and music was playing). We assumed that there was a sound system available. However, if you don't have a DJ he did not advised that you need your own wifi and usb & microphone; 3) The owner while negotiating a deal seemed pleasant enough, albeit lacking in professionalism which was displayed in his delivery and tone when he thought a seat cushion was missing. The cushion had been moved by a guest who was using it on a chair in the food service area. It was found yet the owner did not bother the apologize; and 4) Parking is limited. While there is a parking garage across the street that the owner recommended, the parking spaces had dedicated signs from other stores in the area advising that non customers will be towed. So in a nutshell it was park at your own risk. The space itself is beautiful, just get everything in writing and confirm, confirm, confirm!

    A review post rescheduled event:…read more Overall, our guests were comfortable, the sound system was good, the room was clean and airy with high ceilings and needed minimal decorations. There was room for our food and sweets tables as well as for a small dance floor which was appropriate for our intimate event with close family and friends. As an event space, the sky tower room delivered all of the things we were looking for. ---------------------- The space was clean, easy to access from the Highway, there was street side parking for our guests as long as they arrived early. The general manager Shanita(?) was there cleaning from a prior event and greeted us at the door at 2pm. It was good that we started the event later (4pm) than our reservation started (2pm) because our DJ had to work with event staff and call the owner because our DJ was having trouble connecting to the system. We followed up with staff onsite to make sure we revived the ice, serving trays, and table linens that were included in our package. We decided not to follow up about using the projector/tv screens after being brushed off when we asked for the other included amenities, but there were two large flatscreen TVs behind the sound booth. There was another event happening at the same time in the smaller room next door and we could only hear them (and assume that they could also hear us) if the front doors were open. At one point a guest from the other party clogged one of the toilets so it was shut down. The site manager was there to direct people to the right room and to shut down the room that was out of service. We started cleanup at 8 pm and we did our best to clear the space of debris that was generated by our event. The contract was very specific about prohibited activities (IE: no tape. No confetti etc) so we wanted to be sure to keep up our end of the deal especially because some of our decorative balloons popped and made a mess. The manager came in at 9pm and let us know that she would handle the rest if we got our items out of the space. We (clearly) did not have the best time negotiating the terms of the rescheduled event especially when we wanted to switch event spaces. Beautiful site. Lovely amenities.
