Their yuca fries could have been a little bit crispier, so they were alright. The good thing is that neither of these were greasy, so that was a huge plus! The owner of the truck was a Cuban woman, so bonus points for representing her country! I've had lots of Cuban sandwiches in my lifetime, and although these were original, they were lacking the meat that most places put in these delicious sandwiches. I was super excited they were on the menu, but very disappointed in the lack of meat they contained. I think mine contained one and half or two large slices of ham and this sandwich is known for the variety and quantity of meat it boasts. It usually has roasted pork and ham, and sometimes (especially in Miami) they will add salami. It was big on the cheese and it was nice and toasted, but I was still let down. Maybe next time, I will try their "ropa vieja" (white rice and black beans) and see how I like it! Fingers crossed it will be yummy! The owner was very sweet and courteous to her patrons. I'll come back to give this food truck another chance. The environment where the food truck is parked is inviting, so I enjoyed that too.

The menu changed and the prices for most items increased by $1-2. First week had the roast pork plate for $13.99. At this price it was a good deal with the pork being OK and the "congri" tasteful. I was a little disappointed with the "yuca" as it appears to be air fried. Would of like to have seen "yucca en mojo" which is more typical. The Cuban Sandwich for $10.99 was disappointing. Pork meet was scarce with only one slice of ham. The bread was perfectly toasted and the cheese melted. On the second week I had the "Ropa Vieja" plate for $15.99. It was a very generous portion. However, the meet was over salted.
