In town for a business trip and I was craving pizza. Yelp had this place ranked as a 4.3 so I figured I would give it a try. Who doesn't like wood fired pizza after all. I do t really know where to begin on this one. The staff was very friendly so understand that I am not knocking the service at all. That's about where the good news ends though. Walking into the restaurant, I really didn't understand the decor. Maybe it's a new place that just hasn't renovated yet, but it was not the type of place I would want to go sit down and eat at. It just felt way too "kiddy" to me. From the buses painted on the wall to the lack of many places to sit, this restaurant just feels unfinished. Now, onto the food. I ordered a small maple bacon pizza. Looking at the menu in yelp, this sounded delicious so I already had my mind made up before I arrived. To my disappointment, the pizza really wasn't that great. The toppings didn't even adhere to the crust. They literally pealed off with little effort. Since the pizza wasn't cut all the way to the edges, I lost the toppings on my first slice to the slice next to it. The crust was also far too chewy for me. Hard to chew in fact. If I lived here, I would still be looking for a good pizza place to frequent as this place wouldn't be it for me. read more

10/10 friendly service any time of day that I stop in. The wood-fired bagels were my most recent purchase and oh my are they worth it! Asiago for my husband and rosemary olive oil for me. ‍ My lunch time faves are the Zoee Bear when I want a little zing, or the chicken salad wrap when I don't. The portions are generous and we often split a sandwich. If you are craving roast beef the Fitch Falcon is always satisfying and the need is high quality.. I grab lunch at least once a week here and have never been disappointed. Inside is great for families or a quick bite on a work break. Always friendly, always quick. My boyfriend and I discovered this place while on the way to our destination. Unfortunately didn't take any pictures ! But, give it a try! The staff: absolutely fantastic, super super friendly and patient as we were new to the place. Food: My boyfriend got a chicken parm grinder and I got the turkey blt. Both sooooo good. Specifically my boyfriend loved the sauce on the grinder and I loved the bacon on the blt- so delicious. If you're a fan of sweet potato fries like me, do not forget to try those, I devoured those haha!! Went there for their pizza and was unfortunately disappointed. We got a white pizza and a supreme. They didn't have ricotta for the white pizza but didn't tell me until after I arrived to pick up the pizza. They just used more mozzarella. The supreme pizza was very skimpy on the meat toppings and was just loaded with black olives and cheese. On a whole, not a great pizza and lacking in quality. Sauce is sweet. Kind of reminds me of Papa John's. They were very kind at the restaurant and the crust is pretty good, however, I don't be going back. read more

Meh...Not really impressed. The staff was very friendly however my grinder wasn't that good. Ordered a chicken cutlet grinder: mayo, lettuce, tomato, cheese. The bread was very good but that's about it. The frozen chicken cutlet was soggy, the lettuce was brown and there was way, way too much mayonnaise ( I'm talking globs falling out). If I could give this place a no star I would, the roast beef sandwich that I purchased today was probably the most disgusting I've had ever. It was all grizzle, no meat. The two bites of the sandwich I took made the the sandwich fall apart because of the amount of fat in the meat. The fact that someone had the courage to put this inferior gross meat in a sandwich and expects someone to eat it is beyond me. Love this place...homemade dough, fresh focaccia. What's not to love? We had the italian and the roast beef wood fired sandwiches. Great flavors, really fresh ingredients. We also had a few slices of pizza. Nice thin crust east coast style! Miss that stuff being in the northwest. There's a coffee shop in the building with good looking pastries as well. There's Bess Eaton which is great, The Bridge Market which makes great sandwiches, and The Rolling Tomato which we haven't tried yet but looks awesome. Ordered a rueben sandwich on Rye for 8.00. This seemed reasonable however, once I picked it up at the window... i was surprised to see a sandwich the size of a homemade peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I've recenty ordered a couple of different items from here. The pizza is very good, not underdone or overdone, well portioned and tasty. That being said the grinders are 180 degrees opposed to the pizza. The portions are slight and have the saltiest taste to them I have ever encountered on a sandwich. I have ordered both the sausage and cheeseburg subs only to throw most of them out. If you must, stick to the pizza as they seem to not be affected by whatever going on there with the salt issue. read more

Had a few recommendations for an online group and decided to give it go for lunch. I asked two gals working what they would recommend. We had two wood fired sandwiches. The roast beef and the zoee bear. They were both knock outs!! One of the ladies had brought us out the food said "if you don't like it I'll buy your lunch." A very sweet gesture but boy.....tHere was def no need for that I ate every last crumb! The fresh focaccia bread was seriously outstanding! Each sandwich was seasoned perfectly. I wasn't sure about the combos of flavors on the zoee bear (ranch and Thai peanut sauce) but it ended up being my favorite sandwich! The roast beef was sliced thin and perfectly tender. Great experience overall! It's a must try and I can't wait to come back and sample something else on their menu! I have only ordered the pizza, but I am not impressed. The crust is super thin, which I normally like, but it had a lot of bubbles form cooking that were burnt and flavorless. My son likes the maple bacon pizza, so I will buy that for him. They advertise delivery on Fridays and Saturdays. I have only managed to get delivered to twice. When I call, they always tell me they are short handed, and ask if I can pick it up. When I say no, they ask me my name, and then talk to other people, and always return with a verdict that NO, they cannot deliver to me. Apparently delivery is reserved for friends. There is nothing worse to me than to advertise something and then never have it available. There are other local places that are just as good, that always come through. read more

Our family has known Karen, the owner, for many years! She and her staff are friendly and treat everyone like family. She even delivered the food out to the car for my handicapped parents so they could sit where they were most comfortable. The BBQ Chicken Pizza was delicious and the toppings were generous. The Northeast Academy salad made with spinach is my favorite, always fresh and tangy. Banana peppers paired with sweet cranberries are a great combination, the gorgonzola puts it over the top! All their grinders and wraps are stuffed full and always great. If you're in a hurry, their cold tuna macaroni salad is freshly made and great to take with you.
