This is the truth and I'm ashamed for this location. I have been to a few of these free commodities locations and this one has got to be helped themselves. The other items are for sale anywhere from a dollar to five dollars and some of them for sale are from the day before that were given away for free. They should reconsider what they are giving to the needy. If the items were any good they probably take them home for their families. The animals at Reject Ranch are not just living beings but are treated with the utmost respect and kindness they deserve. Each animal has a unique personality, and interacting with them was a delightful experience that melted our heart. It was wonderful to see how well they were cared for in such a loving environment. A special mention goes to Kady, who was incredibly informative and helpful throughout our visit. Her knowledge and passion for the animals and their well-being were evident, making our interaction both educational and enjoyable. Her kindness allowed us to connect with the resident animals in a meaningful way. Meeting these loving creatures entirely altered my perception of farm animals and emphasized the importance of empathy and compassion for all living beings. We left Reject Ranch with a renewed sense of purpose and a desire to contribute to their mission. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Reject Ranch. Also really high price tags for mostly extremely used items. I remember thrift shop's being reasonably priced and way better stuff. Like 50 cents to no more than 10 bucks for clothes. Household items being 5 bucks to no more than 100. The price tags on some of the clothes was outrageous for being used. Like 6 bucks for raggedy shirts and 20 bucks for raggedy jeans. I'm all for recycling and reusing but come on. I still got my kids what they wanted but seriously could have went to Burlington and bought brand new for the same price. My only reason for not just leaving is that I know the Goodwill gives a lot back to many communities and persons in need. I know my kids will want to come back because they're into this thrift shop thing right now. As for me I wouldn't return.
