So you can still have a full English breakfast (until 11:30, but there's an all-day version too), but there are veggie and vegan variants, as well as the usual sandwiches, baguettes, paninis, omelettes, quiches, salads, baked potatoes, and a choice of soups. There are also modern brunch favourites such as poached eggs and smashed avocado on sourdough toast, and eggs benedict on toasted English muffins. Portion sizes are generally perfect for a light lunch, but there is a good selection of cakes and puddings if you're hungrier. The cafe has a small number of tables out at the front, and is dog-friendly (designated tables, In fact) - and so, popular with dog walkers. Service is friendly, usually quick, and it's worth booking as they can get very busy. All the food was hot and the fish was freshly cooked which was nice. The place was very busy and we managed to get a table just as someone else was leaving. The people serving were friendly and polite, and everything looked nice and clean and tidy. The fish and chips come with a lemon wedge and served on a tray. Everything tasted very nice indeed, the fish fresh, the batter crisp and the chips fluffy and tasy! Would we go back...? most definately! and had they brought the food to the table I would have considered giving them a tip. The price of the food is a tad expensive (although it is at the beach so I would expect it to be) but certainly worth every penny. Looking forward to going back again soon.
