So we bought a $1000 dishwasher to handle the heavy dishwashing requirements we have with a family of 5, purchased the extended warranty (another $100) after being reassured that the risk of a failure would be mitigated and have "no worries" this important piece of our kitchen facilities at home. 13 months into the life of the dishwasher it failed we have spent over 50 hours hand washing dishes, 4th week with out a working dishwasher, 4th technician's visit, and had the technician just leave (as I had predicted would happen to McDonald's service manager) scratching his head saying" there is only one more part to change on this machine and if that doesn't work, I don't know what to do". I had previously contacted the McDonald's service team and cc'd McDonald's owners last week to ask for a new dishwasher. Their response was they have no control over the service as it is all OUTSOURCED and have now become non-responsive following my last email requesting proper customer service and support. So be warned, this company no longer has any control over their level of customer service for the appliances they sell and are not willing to stand-up and take responsibility for the products they sell with misguided button popping pride and tradition.     Hi , I have made the biggest mistake of my life when I walked through the doors of Leon. On October…read morethe 8 th I had a stove delivered by Leon's. As the 2 young boys were delivering the stove the one boy slipped and dropped the stove on my brand new plank flooring. I had one of the delivery boys take a picture of the damage and it was given to the head of the customer complaints department , I was told to get a estimate on the cost of replacing the floor, so I went to Greyfair flooring and they came to my home and gave me a estimate in writing as I was asked to do by customer complaints. Well they did not like the estimate so they told me that they would just repair the damage to my floor. weeks went by and a person came to my door and told me he was sent by Leons to repair my floor, after spending about a hour he said to me that he had never tried to repair a plank floor and he was going to get someone who could help him by this time my floor was total mess. He never returned to my home and when I called Leon's all they would say was they were working on it. It is now Dec 13 th and everytime I call I am told they are working on it and as I was as long they say they are working on it there is nothing I can do about it. I asked them if they could hire someone else no the guy who has never been back is working on it ha ha . I am a 74 year old senior and on CPP and can not afford to pay to replace the floor , this is a dirty trick to pull on some they know cannot afford a lawyer and I am at the point of a nervous breakdown over this mess .I don't know what to do or who to turn to . I even sent a message to Leon's head office and have never received a response from them. If someone out there can help me I would appreciate it greatly. To anyone reading this take warning if you care for your home do not buy anything from them and for heavens sake don't let them deliver anything to your home!!! I can just imagine what would happen if something you bought from them malfunctioned it could take years to get it replaced because they would tell you that they were working on it.
