TERRIBLE experience with the Brick. I purchased a high quality dishwasher that never operated. It took 6 months of emails, calling and constant communication on my end to replace. The replacement dishwasher was of a lesser value and they refused to install it or remove the faulty dishwasher. NO , I would not recommend this business for a large purchase. They so easily respond to a review by replying with an email saying for you to complete a claim when they already have made up their mind By supporting the decision done by commercial care dept. They can't pickup the phone and call the customer to discuss the matter. They sold us a couch that was defective right from the beginning but won't acknowledge that. I ordered a table and chairs based on an advertised estimated delivery date of April 25. The very next day, I received an update pushing the delivery to May 25, a full month later. I understand that delays can happen, especially with large items. However, a one month change immediately after purchase feels misleading, particularly when the earlier date influenced my decision to buy over other retailers. I contacted customer service and the experience was disappointing. Rather than acknowledging the concern, the response focused entirely on the fact that the date was "estimated." There was no recognition of how a significant overnight change could feel misleading and impact a customer's expectations and experience, and no options were offered, such as a discount, delivery accommodation, or any form of goodwill. Their responses felt defensive rather than solution oriented. A simple acknowledgment of the situation would have gone a long way. Customers should be aware that estimated delivery dates shown at purchase may not reflect actual availability, and delays of up to a month are possible even immediately after ordering. read more

The Brick is not interested in doing the right thing when it comes to customer service. They hide behind the small print and policy and do not look at the merits of the complaint. Bought furniture there three years ago and paid the extra money for the fabric protector treatment. Was told it was a win win exact words.... after three years if no claim could get a refund. They did not say but you only have a 90 day window after the three years. We all sit and wait for the three years to be up to remember to take advantage of this sales pitch. The brick is a company that does not practice "just because I can should I." I would not recommend them to anyone. When I bought the items the follow up to get them delivered and receive was all on my end as well, took months of me calling and calling. read more

I've had a ten month nightmare with the brick. Two broken sofa deliveries, unanswered phone calls, promises to contact me and then going on vacation twice while we waited for answers and my new sofa sat in a warehouse. I'm appalled at their service and was patient and gave them a chance to redeem themselves. 150.00 credit was offered to me as compensation. Pretty presumptuous of them to offer credit - as if I would EVER return to that store. I've shared my story on FB and insta and they've lost a boatload of current and future customers. If they had of provided half decent customer service to my family I would have never felt the need to post on social media. They pushed me over the edge over ten months. The store manager mad operations manager left me no choice. I will say the young woman who sold us the set was amazing. I hope she has found work elsewhere. The brick blames covid for my woes. It was never about the delays, it was about the continuous delivery of punctured sofas to my house, the never answering the phone and allowing my sofa to sit in a warehouse (the operations manager was supposed to contact us) the worst customer service we've ever had. I have been calling for days now and no one answers. Left an email with the salesman that sold me my appliances and he won't respond to a simple question. Just looking to get updated on a stove that is supposed to be replaced. Called and left two messages about a washer I bought in December of last year that is not working and they have not called me back. I will never buy from this place again. Ripping up the brick card and going elsewhere but not before I tell everyone how bad their customer service is. Bet I would be priority if I was looking to purchase something new. Sorry. As a follow on to my earlier complaint, The Brick has failed to contact us to discuss a resolution. They continue to rely on lies and deceit through their bogus and patronizing response to the complaint I posted. I guess once they get past integrity... the rest is a piece of cake. Bought a bed early July and was told 2 weeks. I just got it in September, which is 2 months later. I was told because of COVID-19 and so on, which is ok, but not acceptable. Got the bed with some defects, one of the parts are very short to be attached, the headboard has 2 holes on it and the finishing is very very very bad (lots of splinters). My 3 years old got splinter in his hand because of it. The Product is not cheap to wait 2 months for it and at the end, it arrived with defects. When I went to the store 2 hours later after picking it up, I was told that they could not return it because it was accepted in a house, WHAT? So how would I know it's that bad? The pictures looked good when we ordered it, how would we know? The manager told me she have to send the technician to inspect it then they can replace the defect parts only. The finish is very bad and I would like to get another one, but don't want to wait that much time again as we are sleeping in the floor now because I throw the old one an house before picking up this one. We are very disappointed and management is a jock in that location. They should be able to refund, specially I went back right away after picking it up. Overall, I will never buy from that place again ever. I thought it's better to buy from there as I was told their Products will last long, but they were wrong and I was wrong to listen to them. I was about to buy from IKEA because they have a one year return policy with no questions asked, but I was wrong for listening to my friend who told me to buy from the brick. IKEA finishing is way better that the brick (splinter free), I am sorry IKEA for not buying from you this time and I am sorry the brick for buying from you, you will never see my face again. Please everyone, look at the pictures and zoom in to see how poor is the Quality of that expensive bed. They also charge $200 admin fees, we never pay the admin fees in IKEA or Costco. read more
