We were driving along Highway 1 from Digby to Noel, and I was in need of caffeine. Small homemade signs noted "The Bread & Art Gallery" a few miles down the road but even so, the building is so nondescript we almost drove right by it. So glad we didn't! Got a small coffee (which was really good despite being served out of a thermos pot on a side table) and a cinnamon roll which was just out of this world - a flaky, perfect mixture of cinnamon and pastry. Mmmm the bread and pastries are the absolute best. We always stop here on our way through to Windsor or the Valley.

Great little bakery with very reasonable prices. There is an art gallery in the same building that is fun to look around in. Besides bread, they have muffins, cookies etc. The cookies were really delicious. You can also get a good cup of coffee here self serve. read more
