The husband tried the Nørrebro on tap which is an American pale ale dedicated to the said neighborhood. It's pleasant with lots of nice aroma and a bitter bite. I had a glass of Sangiovese with firm tannins and savory black cherries. Not exactly a match for the delicate lobster that I ordered, but my wine is my main course! ;) Speaking of the Norwegian lobster, it was nicely grilled and put together with leeks, confit of salsify (akin to a turnip), green tomatoes and crispy rye bread. Their bowl of carrot soup is heartwarming and topped with candied lemon dill. Do not be shy to ask for extra bread since their bread is classically European: dark rye, semi dense and so good with butter. BOB served our purpose as a pre dinner soirée as their plates are meant for grazing and the ambiance, even on a weeknight, is pretty exciting. Or perhaps it was our seats that were facing the window, but we had a full view of the street happenings in the vibrant Vesterbro neighborhood. Locals rushing by on their bikes and street girls trying to meet her quota for the night. That is as organic as you can get.

This allows a more personal experience. And isn't the experience almost as or as important as the food when you are evaluating a Michelin? When we arrived we were immediately welcomed and made to feel that being there was special and you belonged. Like you were coming to a close friends for dinner. Our table was in the corner by a window with a slight view of the kitchen. The decor, the colors all perfect. We had decided not to do the wine pairing in advance as we didn't want that much wine so chose to share a bottle between 3 of us. We asked our waiter for recommendations and he was very informative and chose perfectly. He even chose below the price range we gave him. Our party of 3 ordered the following: Gold Selection caviar, Mackerel, Grilled Danish langoustine, Tatar of Danish beef, Roasted turbot, Back of Iberico pork, Danish raspberry with dulse ice cream, and Sea buckthorn en surprise. They start you out with 2 snacks. One a fermented strawberry crust over langoustine with chili. Amazing! And an oyster in a rhubarb vinegar equally delicious! The first bite let you know that what you were about to experience was going to be magical. There's also bread with the best butter! We loved the caviar with the olive oil sorbet! Again, taking our time to enjoy the flavor and texture combination. The mackerel was also very good with the pickled rose hips and gooseberries. The langoustine presentation was beautiful! Taking care to drag each bite through the bier blanc is key. The tartare hidden and nestled in the courgette flower was stunning and equally as delicious! We had tartare the night before also which we enjoyed quite a bit but this was another level. The turbot was so wonderful and again, beautifully presented. Our one not so good, was the Iberico pork. The peas and mint were so delicious, but the undercooked pork was hard to cut into with a sharp knife and chewy. So not like absolutely everything else. I would not recommend ordering it. Disappointing. The desserts were wonderful! The sea buckthorn en surprise is a lesson in layering. The flavors, the textures the temperatures! No words to describe how memorable this was! We left being so grateful to be able to have experienced this beautiful restaurant. Highly highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!

The decor is sleek and modern. We were seated in a corner near the restrooms, not an ideal location but it turned out fine. The presentation of the food was amazing! It was all picture worthy, which I expect with dining at a Michelin Star restaurant. We were served many courses. I really enjoyed the caviar. The dishes were flavorful and all very interesting. The creativity here is 10/10. Some of the flavors were not my preference flavor wise. Overall, I enjoyed this experience, and the customer service was great. The staff even offered to call us a cab. I can't remember if we actually accepted the offer, nonetheless we really appreciated the offer.

We picked this place to avoid the Nyhavn crowd and to try to have a nice quiet lunch together. Perhaps there might have been some amazing restaurant just a few blocks away, but as short-staying tourists, we'll never know what we missed. We were seated inside relatively quickly and were happy to settle in. Service-wise, we were well taken care of, even though the restaurant was clearly short-handed. I also found the inside dining room to be classy casual and quite comfortable. I ordered the Moules (Blue Mussels), while Gayle chose a generous Classic Club Sandwich that she couldn't finish. Both choices were excellent ones of which we took our time enjoying and chatting. As we left Ravage happy, energized, and full we knew we had made a good lunch choice.

The second time I tried their burger and fries that were also really good. The meat is rare and juicy, the buns delicious and filling and the fries just tasty. The only negative is the acoustic (or maybe we have just been unfortunate with very loud guests both times ;-). I look forward to coming back!

A man, who I believe was the bartender, suddenly came outside and started yelling at us in a very rude and disrespectful manner. Instead of politely explaining the restaurant's policy, he mocked us and repeatedly said, "You should have known you can't do this in Denmark." At the time, all of the outdoor tables were empty, and since we had purchased drinks from the restaurant, we genuinely thought it would be acceptable to sit there. We would have completely understood if someone had kindly explained the policy, but there was absolutely no reason to speak to us in such an offensive and humiliating way. Customer service should be respectful, especially when dealing with visitors who may not be familiar with local customs.

I had venison, which locally referred to as Sommerbuck, for my entree. This was in a wine reduction and a variety of vegetables. Again, wonderful. The food is a reflection of traditional Danish fare, certainly adapted and elevated, but the roots of classic Nordic food shine through. We enjoyed this succulent piece of meat. It tasted delicious with all its accompaniments and baked potato. (4 stars) Well, we were not ecstatic about our experience here. 3.5 stars overall. Judging from all the folks that were here, they seem to be popular. Peder Oxe is a restaurant to try if you are craving Danish and French Cuisine in Copenhagen cause all these folks can't be wrong.

I arrived around 3 and decided to do the two course meal. I wanted Foie Gras as the second course so the server suggested the Nicoise Salad instead of the Chèvre Salad (next time) which was great advice. This salad was amazing! Perfect combo of Tuna (sashimi), anchovies, haricots verts, olives with a light dressing. The Foie Gras was also very good. The staff was attentive and friendly. Probably the top French restaurant in Copenhagen. I will be back to try some of the main courses.
