Fun place for a cold and rainy day. The lanes aren't overly waxed so you can get a lot of spin on the ball.

I love it here!! So much fun to bowl for a great price and the drink prices are great (only $4 for happy dads!!). 10/10 recommend and will be going back! read more

The Bozeman Bowl - Happy dad! - Bowling Near Me - Bozeman, Montana

Everything was so much fun ! Friendly staff, clean building, and good food. Bathrooms were super clean too. They charge by the 1/2 hour. Our balls got stuck a few times coming back to us but the staff were very quick with retrieving them. read more

Friendly staff. Well maintained lanes and facilities, including Hambones grill. Good leagues variety.

Wow, special event at th Bowl today, great, thats fine. Reminder to call ahead before you drive 40 miles into Bozeman to bowl with your family to find out there ia a special event not listed on the hours of operation. read more

Showed up to bowl one hour before closing hoping to get a lane on a Friday night. The place was not crowded but the staff refused to serve us and give a lane. They said "it's been dead all day and we made the call" if that's the case, change your hours instead of turning customers away. It's a Friday night people want to bowl with their friends after work! read more

Make a reservation for the weekend or you will probably have to wait for a lane. There are plenty of ball options and a little food place inside. Nothing fancy, but good for bar-type food. Super great priced drinks as well. read more

This place sucks so hard. This place sucks. And the lanes aren't good. I feel discriminated against because I'm from California

Maybe the people from out of state and those who just moved here should go back to where they came from if they aren't happy here. No one should have to "update" their business just because you're here now. Don't like it here.... GO HOME. read more

My son and I have been going here for years. Unbelievable place, a Bozeman institution. There's now a grill inside and the bar is remodeled. read more

Place is kickass. Bring your mom, your grandma, your second girlfriend, for sure gonna have a radical time. Go CATS!!!! read more

This place sucks! Stole money even admitted they were wrong and wouldn't give a refund!

When you CAN get in here, it's adequate. Leagues are constant, not all their fault, only bowling alley in the area which represents over 70,000 people. Constant leagues, which is great, but can make open bowling an absolute nightmare. Sometimes I drive by thinking about bowling, see the parking lot and know I'm not getting in for at least two hours. Rented balls sometimes fit, but often cannot find one which comes close to fitting my fairly average fingers. Old bowling alley, looks out of the 70s, which I could totally handle and be fine with if I could just get in and bowl. Overall, decent place, have had times with really good service, some of the employees are really caring and helpful, which I really appreciate, others have been adequate. Overall, Bozeman needs another bowling place, but you can have a fun time here if you're in the mood to go. read more

The equipment is really well maintained... better than any of the places I bowled on leagues in Minnesota or Illinois.

Called the night before was told they were open 9-12. Came in at 2 the next day only to be stopped at the entrance and told there was leagues and to comeback after 6 or 7, in a rude I don't give a crap manner. Even though there was six lanes not being used. No mention of leagues on the phone or website. Rude people, with a cocky where else you gonna go attitude. May not ever return. read more

Where do we start?.....! This place is safe, from the standpoint it's the only bowling alley in town no competition. It's old, smelly, dusty and dingy! Whew what a relief to let it out. The prices are very comparable to other bowling alleys. The balls are old beat up and broken down. If you just have to bowl go here, if you can find other entertainment go there. They do play diverse music one positive. Oh... And it's cash only they do have a ATM. It's 2015 you don't take plastic, get it together. read more

I wish this establishment well, but keeping your business running the same as it was in 1980 just won't generate much repeat clientele. Maybe that's their intention? Staff were less than thrilled to be there (of the only 2 that I could find on a Saturday afternoon). No debit or credit cards is flat out stupid in today's cashless world. It'd be great to see this business turn their 1-2 star average rating into a 5 star spot one day soon. Best of luck- read more

Employees are rude and yell at you if you're doing nothing wrong. The bartender denied a 21 year olds ID, claiming that it's "not real" and asked to fight after showing proof with three different IDs. Also in the middle of our game, after we all paid, the cashier accused us of not paying and we had to prove that we did. As paying customers, we would expect better service as opposed to the disrespect we received. read more

First, it's league night every single week day so you have to wait. They're extremely unorganized and don't know how to run it. It is outdated but I have no issues with that so long as it doesn't effect my experience. The workers seem like they don't care. Unfortunately there isn't any other bowling spot in town. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. Rude workers who believe that because they're the only bowling alley in Bozeman they can do whatever they want. They stole my friends money by saying she'd only paid for one game when they charged her for two, Stared at me and my friends the whole time because we're around college age while clearly treating older customers better read more

You cant find a better running center in the state! Best staff that care about there customers also have the best drink prices in town. Highly recommend for a great time. read more

Worst place ever! Just because you are the only bowling alley in Bozeman does not mean you can treat your patrons horrible. If you are in the hospitality business, learn how to accommodate your guests. I just wish country lanes was still open, best place ever! read more

Went here tonight with the kids we had a great time the guy working was very nice we had the place mostly to our selves and had a wonderful time read more

Terrible service. Wait time is outrageous. Got put on the waiting list for 1.5 hours. Called multiple times to see if our name moved up, they said it was never on the list and hung up. Will not be returning there. read more

Don't listen to the naysayers. Give it a try for yourself! This has been a great local establishment for years and if you like real fun, suck it up and check it out! read more

This place was horrible to me. We walked in, and of course there was league, so we put our name on a waiting list (#2) (which she said would be a hour). We waited an hour and a half, league ended, and Amber (the employee) gave 3 of the lanes to her friends. Half the lanes were reserved for a party. We waited in the line for our turn and then she refused to help us.she told us it would be another 30 min to get organized. We went home and called the alley (the owner Lori) and she, again, didn't say anything helpful and basically told us to shove off. It's unbelievable) read more

This place fucks! I drank 147 Jell-O shots with 3 of my buddies there and puked on the front door. Literally the only gentleman working cleaned it up so fast! He knew it was me but was chill anyways. Afterwards I proceeded to throw two gutter balls and blacked out. 10/10 fun time. I will be back after MLK day assuming I'm allowed. read more

This place has got to be one of the worst alleys I have been too. It was confusing trying to get the guy at the counter to get me two lanes, one with bumpers and one with out. The one with constantly had the bumpers falling down and the first two times it was not too long of a wait to get them fixed, but the third time we could not find the guy working the counter. He ended up being outside for about 15 min. The fourth time however we found him sitting at the bar chatting with people and not monitoring the lanes. On top of that we had two games per lane and that must have been super confusing as well because he ended up putting one game on one lane and and three games on one lane which then turned back into four games for one lane. This place sucks read more

Terrible service. Rude and they only take cash or check so you a forced to use their ATM which charges you $3 per transaction. Never going there again. read more

This place sucks. I put my name on the list at 9:15. After waiting two and a half hours, we had still not gotten a lane and people who had just shown up got a lane before us. Also, when we asked how long the wait would be they were complete assholes. I will not spend any more time or money at the bozeman bowl. read more

They could update the building, it's old and they have old equipment. Of course they are the only one in town so there's no competition for them. They have a lot of league days so it seems whenever we want to go bowling there are leagues going on so we can't. But when we do its not so bad and we have a good time. read more

I love bowling but this place makes me never want to again. Everytime I come in they tell me they have leagues or something and they workers are VERY rude and dismissive and not at all helpful. I'd rather buy a plastic bowling kit from Walmart and bowl in the middle of Main Street than bowl here read more

My friends decided to have a beer and bowl a game. He then decided to get an Uber home and the next day (less then 10 hours later)when he went to get his vehicle they had it TOWED. After the bartender said (oh yeah dude that's totally fine) ... $380 dollars later. Safe to say never going back read more

First to address some other cons - Ok so the bathroom isn't exactly the Taj Mahal but it doesn't stink, it's just old. As to the rest of this place being dusty dirty and dingy? I don't think so. And most of the bowling balls are in pretty decent condition for alley balls. There's even a few drilled with fingertip grips which I've been using every week to get used to it when my ball comes in. Go check out the ones still in use at MSU if you want to see what a real alley ball looks like :P The lanes themselves look to be in perfect condition. Sure the ball return or pin setter glitches out once in awhile but they always fix it and it doesn't seem to be an epidemic problem. The gentleman who works the pro-shop is the epitome of the laid-back friendly bowling alley worker. He has always taken plenty of time to answer any questions we had from finding shoes for the wife (too small, just order them online) to helping to pick out our first balls. It was obvious that he cared a lot more about us picking out the right equipment than he did about upselling us to a $300 ball that we wouldn't know what to do with. He spent what was probably the better part of an hour helping us pick them out. Once we got home we looked our choices up online and found nothing but great reviews for the choices he steered us towards. Sure, we've been a little disappointed with speed/quality of service at the desk but sometimes those guys get slammed pretty hard so I don't hold it against them. We really started to appreciate this place after joining a league, the guys that work those nights are always super friendly. If you don't like the environment go at a different time of day or on a different day as the vibe of the place changes drastically depending on when you go. I've popped in for a cheeseburger for lunch, bowling a game practically by myself and I've walked out numerous times because there weren't any open lanes. Bit annoying at first but once we realized that it does fill up our expectations are a little lower if we just randomly pop in at night. If you do/don't like a crowd of drinking bowlers do yourself a favor and go in on an afternoon to pick up a schedule as they have different prices and discounts depending on what day of the week it is. While you're in you can ask the desk clerk when a good time to come in for the type of environment you want is. One more con - they don't take credit cards. Cash or check only although they do have an ATM. read more

On vacation from IA in Bozeman and decided to take the boys bowling (ages 10 and 4). Now, this is a little gem of a place. Yes, the lanes are different, and we had to get used to them, but that was a great challenge. We go bowling a great deal, and since this was the only bowling alley in Bozeman, you take what you can get. But this one was leagues better than many we have visited in IA. The guys behind the counter were a great help, and very attentive. Is it a little inconvenient that all they take is cash or check, yes...but they took my check and didn't ask for an id. I offered it as well. The bathrooms are just old...they don't smell at all, actually they were very very clean. We appreciated the music...wasn't new day inappropriate crap that our boys shouldn't be hearing. Definitely brought back some memories for my husband and I. Honestly, I would give this place an 8 if I could. It has a nice small-town feel, and we were very comfortable. Thank you for the great time! Oh, and one last thing...they had shoes for our toddler. Have yet to find another alley that had shoes in his size. That was a definite bonus, he was very excited and happy! read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. It began with my daughter asking for a 6 lb ball. The attendant behind the counter was so annoyed that his cell phone time was interrupted, that he rolled his eyes, said something under his breath and rolled the ball to my daughter. Later, he put on inappropriate music that had fowl language in it. When asked to change the music, he changed it to another song by the same "artist". I then went up to him and asked him to put on music that didn't involve bad language. He told me there was no bad language and that he would listen for it. I then asked him to change it again and was told, "How about we play what we play here". His words. After a back and forth, he threatened to throw me out. When I told him to go ahead, he got irate and cranked the music up so loud you couldn't talk to the person next to you. He then left the counter and went to the bar to talk to his buddies for at least ten minutes while the music was cranked up. Keep in mind that there are other people in the place. As we were leaving, and I was talking to my daughter about what happened, he continued his tirade by again engaging in disrespectful conversation. I really hope this is not a reflection of the attitude of the owner and the rest of the staff. This was by far the worst I have ever been treated by any business and to do so in front of children makes it that much more appalling. The only up side was that my daughter learned a valuable lesson about rudeness and how to handle it when it happens. read more
