We ordered fish to go and it was a great meal. The only complaint would be this visit the waitstaff advised the owner just yelled at the cook sorry for the wait. Just had a drink and waited no big deal. Next week we ate in it was so over cooked it was gross. Went to have apps over music bingo and the food was good as well as the entertainment. We ordered pizza to go one time and it was the worst big burnt crud all over. They have Santa come for pictures before Christmas and that was great also.

The issue that came up is something that I have had to take a few weeks to fully process and I only leave this post as a way to give feedback to the owners and prevent what happened to us happening to others. The owners were very helpful in that they moved chairs for the ceremony and set up the tables and chairs for the reception, they graciously allowed us to rent some of their gorgeous decorations which we so appreciated. The wedding ended at 10:30pm as was their policy. We rented the house out for the weekend and so after the wedding we we're planning on having a bonfire and enjoying our night. The owner came up to me (Katy) and was very upset and demeaning. She called my wedding party degenerates and condescendingly told me that they were trying to take the keg that we had paid for to the bonfire to enjoy for the after party but that this was against their policy (reviewing their policy this is not written anywhere in it). I tried to have a conversation with her to apologize and ask what she would like us to do and she escalated things very quickly - raising her voice, calling my husband a "spoiled brat." I started to cry and she told me "tears will get you no where, honey." I told the other employee some of the things she had said to us and she gaslight me saying that I was misconstruing her words and I was just "too drunk to remember." I had a few drinks at my own wedding but was no where in a state of mind where I can't remember everything she said to us that night. I had to end the conversation saying we would talk in the morning because she continued to get more and more angry, and we were equally upset with what had occurred. I have never had an experience quite so unprofessional and had an interaction with someone who was so unreasonable and just down right mean. My feedback is that this venue become a dry venue because they clearly have issue with this type of celebration (and maybe an anger management class). The issue that I think she was missing was that it was not that we couldn't drink after the bar closed (even though as I said above this was never said prior), it was how she spoke to us and handled the situation. I truly hope this never happens again to anyone else.

I just had my summer wedding here and thanks to the Johanson family and they're beautiful venue my…read morewedding was the best day of my life. Everyone had the best time and this venue is perfect for all different types of weddings. Amanda is the best coordinator a bride could get. Julian and his Mixology skills were top-tier. The whole family is so prepared and helpful. The food oh my God, the food. They cater all the weddings, and I will tell you it is some of the best food you will eat. It's unique and flavorful and we got so many compliments on how good everything tasted. There is a rule about no outside food or drink, but it's really not that hard to follow because everything they provide is way better than anything you could sneak in. And if you let them know about bringing certain things in advance, they are very relaxed about it. This rule is standard for any business to liability reasons and you just gotta role with it. It's not that hard, just be sure to remind your guests and family before hand. This family has your back and will help you make your wedding the best day possible. They know what they're doing. Johan is so nice and helpful and you can tell he truly cares about your wedding going the way you want. Any negative reviews about him are most likely embellished and honestly rude. Anyone that has a problem with him is the problem. Trust me...They've done so many weddings and really made it magical. Might I add that the pricing for this venue is very respectful and ideal for couples looking for a wedding venue on any budget. And we saved so much money on decor because the venue is already so beautiful. Thank you all so much for making the Foster wedding the best day of our lives. I can really tell that you all love what you do and care about the couples that have the privilege of getting married at the Gardens wedding center. Will be adding photos soon. :)

The space itself was so fun and historic!! All of the decor is on theme for the time period, giving you a blast from the past. The living room/dining room combo area was perfect for the 20-30 adults mingling and there is space upstairs and outside to spread out if needed. We used their in house catering and bartending, which was phenomenal. Heavy appetizers included fruit tray, artichoke dip, meatballs, cheese curds, and assorted sliders. The meatballs were my favorite with a sweet and umami sauce that was delectable. Overall, a really great event space for small to medium gatherings!

Fairly limited menu and a bit pricey but the presentation food are both excellent and well worth the price. Wednesday night and the bar was moderately busy and the dining room had plenty of tables open but it was early. Very friendly and attentive server. Very good cocktails with obvious attention to detail. Manhattan and old fashioned were tasty and good pours. We split a BLT blue cheese wedge salad, with was very good. (I prefer an iceberg wedge, this was good but a little lighter on the lettuce) My shrimp pasta was awesome; great presentation, light oil and pesto with tender shrimp and a variety of vegetables. My wife enjoyed her wagyu meat loaf with mashed potatoes. We ended with desserts of strawberry rhubarb crisp with vanilla ice cream, and flourless chocolate cake; more of a brownie, both were delicious. Highly recommend. Can't wait to try the fish fry.
