The service was over the top and they really got excited about being apart of this for her. The gentleman was really charming to the point of flirty and it made the whole conversation fun for me. We came in on Valentine's day, actually not looking for Valentine's day flowers, just wanting to look at any information or price list they had on wedding flowers. We walked in someone said, "Hi what can we help you with." We started saying "we have a wedding coming up and just wanted to know if" . . . before we could finish this pregnant chick says, we're really busy, it's Valentine's day so can you come back at a later day. I was like, are you kidding me? I don't know if she was just being hormonal or whatever but I think someone realized what she said was really rude and a different employee said, "yeah we have books you can look through. Take a look and just let me know if you have any questions." As my fiance and I were looking through the books more people walked in looking for flowers for their wives and mothers for Valentine's day and the pregnant chick was rude yet again to them saying, we're done with deliveries so you just have to pick stuff off the floor. I understand Valentine's day is super busy for florist, however you can be nice about. a lot nicer. Her attitude was so rude and mean. plus all of them were just gossiping about their lives, while we're sitting there looking through the wedding albums and I heard some things I didn't want to hear. After this experience and having that chick be so mean and a bad attitude and reading reviews about wedding orders, I will NOT being choosing them for my wedding. And it's a real shame because I live like 3 blocks away. read more

Ordered a plant (from the plant section of the website) and got flowers. When I called to ask about the mix-up, the employee said it was FTD's fault. She also said the same thing had happened before. She offered to "swap out" an Orchid plant for the Orchid flower arrangement, but it had already been delivered and would have ruined the moment for my wife. The employee was rude, dismissive, and defensive. I would have been fine with a partial refund. The arrangement is beautiful, but the customer service was abysmal. read more

Ordered flowers for a special event online from Avas Flowers. They called the day they were supposed to be delivered and said they couldn't until the day after the event. Obviously that wouldn't work so I tried to find another florist close by the event. I called and talked to Katie and she said she could have flowers delivered the same day. The Bothell Florist is a scam. We had payed 79.99 for a large flower, a birthday card which was $5 and beautiful balloon, and what we received was a small flower with no balloon or birthday card, just a white strip of paper that had the note for the birthday card and the delivery instructions. We had to rush order it and all of it as for a birthday and it was overall an epic flop and we will never buy from here again. read more

We received excellent costumer service and they did exactly what we wanted from the flowers, to the sizing of our bouquet and color scheme. I will order all of my flowers from the Bothell Florist when needed in this area of town. I ordered 2 floral arrangements to be delivered the next day to 2 different locations because of an unexpected death. I found out that the family was meeting for breakfast at a local restaurant at 9am on the morning of delivery. I called as soon as the florist opened and requested that they be delivered to the restaurant. I knew it was a long shot, as they were already out delivering flowers. Laurel said she couldn't promise but would try. The next thing I heard was a text from my daughter at 9:30 saying the flowers had just arrived, before their food did. We live in Bothell and I have always asked my family to support the Bothell businesses. Last Saturday I received a bouquet from my children from out of town. It arrived not in a box with tissue or anything (seemed incomplete to me) The overall flowers were very pretty but the roses only last three days and many other flowers died as well. I have received other flower bouquets from local grocery stores that have lasted weeks. Overall very disappointed for what my kids paid for it. read more

We spent $80. for a flower arrangement and a corsage for a special event. I waited patiently to order while they dealt with orders they were getting out. While it was not a friendly situation, I persevered. We discussed options and what seemed best was a bowl that could accommodate foam to keep the flowers in place and a nice wristband for the corsage. The flowers looked lovely when we picked them up, but when we lifted the bowl carefully from the car, the flowers fell willy nilly. It took a long time, about an hour, to put the bouquet back together but not as nice as the original arrangement. The corsage was also very nice, but the band was so big, it was useless. When I called to discuss the problems, the person was very defensive and unapologetic about not using foam. I would not use this florist again. read more

I ordered a bouquet for my daughter (from her boyfriend that was out of country). I ordered online and they were delivered the next day. Problem came in when I saw that they were missing a major element, the regular size roses. So, I proceeded to call the florist and ask about why there was no regular size roses (only spray roses which were also part of the bouquet I chose). Well, I agree that the customer service was sorely lacking as I spoke with the manager of the shop. She made excuses for running out of the roses, etc. but offered to send out another bouquet the next day. So great, another bouquet was delivered however it was a totally different type, not one I would have ever chosen. Then they had the audacity to ask for the original bouquet back! What is that about? I ordered our wedding flowers from The Bothell Florist in January 2012 for our March 2012 wedding. We called to arrange an appointment with Laurel and my mother and I went in to meet with her. She was so friendly and helpful - I didn't know exactly what I wanted in my bouquet so she went through pictures and asked many questions to get a good idea of what I wanted. My bouquet was beautiful!! Exactly what I was wanting and so large! She includes a "throw away" bouquet free in the order. I saw this bouquet first on my wedding day and thought it was so beautiful I thought it was my bridal bouquet - mine was so much bigger and gorgeous. We also ordered simple gerbera daisy bouquets for the bridesmaids and they were beautiful as well and included vases for each one. The bouts and corsages were fresh, crisp and true to what we'd talked about. The delivery was on time to the venue. The only thing that could be improved is that when my father went to pick up my hair flower the day of the wedding (before my hair appointment) the florist was late to open by 15 minutes.
